Hello
haven't used my wii fit for ages!! Think of selling it but is it good for exercise during pg?
Right - Sami, I'm still none the wiser. My usual MW at work is off and the others didn't know! Said they knew that they were going to start the NT scans on the NHS but they don't know if they have just yet. It might be really difficult to get under them as well as I'm already under Wazza. Oh well, Liverpool Women's it is!
Have fun at baby shows those of you who are going.
Finally managed to get my bloods done today!! :j Need to drop them off at the hospital and then go to the out of hours GP as mine are closed for the afternoon. My foof still sore and don't fancy asking any of mine for a prescription!
As my medical exemption hasn't come through yet, do you think the chemist would accept a letter from MW to say I'm pg so I don't have to pay? Could ask when I drop bloods off for a note of something.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Glamazon - the Wii fit tells you not to go on whilst pregnant (and to be honest the way it says ouch when you get on the board is not the best thing to be hearing whilst pregnant).
They do say that any exercise is good to bring on labour though - the hula hooping is good to make sure baby is well down in the pelvis.
I have just done about 20 minutes of HH, Step and Slalom and it has brought on some really strong braxton hicks!! But I get a lot of those anyway.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Glam - oh well it was worth a look into x
I didn't have my card when I got a script for some ear infection thing *yuk* I told the pharmacist I was preg but didn't have card yet n she said just tick the box anyway.
In my experience its only the dentist who has ever asked to see the card anyway0 -

It was def worth looking in to. At least OH is paying for NT!! Bless him.
As for Wii Fit - i should get on it again even if it's just to say how much weight I put on!! I love the HH - my little sister who is 8 is really good at the one where you drop the balls thru the holes! Think i'ts cos she's so light!
Off to docs now - try and bob back on later xxxxx
ThanksA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

LOL Emma - if you haven't needed it so far then you may not need it at all (touch wood!)
My MW gave me a signed and stamped form to send off (well actually, she had to give me two because I neglected to send the first one off!)please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
