Thanks for the calendula tips Mrs Tine!;) Do you know anything about camphor?

erm re milk sami, how many weeks are you hon? That's very impressive! :D

Having read r.mac's story (thanks for the linkie Sami) I think I want to leave the pool inflated, cos r.mac didn't get oh to inflate hers cos she wanted him with her. Hadn't really thought about it like that, but good tip!:o

cazscoob, hope your DH is lovelier to you soon. Horrid to be treated that way just now... :(

Tried my labour TENS today. Lots of the settings are lovely, and some are blimmin stingers and make you suck your breath in! I tried it sitting on my ball for the full, rounded pre-4cm experience (that's when I can jump in the lovely hot water (hopefully!))

Re weight gain and pregnancy, has anyone else been trying to follow the calorie recommendations for pregnancy?

Just wondered if you'd found it too much at times and too little at others?

Also is anyone else more triggered to false hunger after sweet carby foods than they are usually?

    TIA,

    Weezl x

I don't have milk yet either MFD if that makes you feel better :) And no I don't fancy the hiccups sorry! :D
My neck hurts and my lower back hurts... thankfully my hips have stopped hurting! I HAVE been sat on my bottom all day though! Probably why they're not hurting :)

I'm a bit odd - I have loads of herbalist books, but whilst I'm happy to treat myself with plants and what have you I'd never dream of applying it to someone else  Mind you I only do minor stuff like scrapes and scratches and such :) If I really want to confuse DH I drag out the danish and norwegian books ;)
ooh I have an image of big dusty leather bound books :rotfl:I'm so weird!

I liked one thing which I liked in particular was just to infuse some oil like olive or veg with some black pepper, chillies and ginger and use as a warming muscle rub - I think it would smell nice too

A little... what general non medical question do you have? ;)

It can't be produced on an allotment though... can tell you that for nothing ;)

(btw for the nosey parkers out there - camphor is the active ingredient in Vicks vapor rub :) )

Mrs T, sorry to hear your work's being a pain again. Seems they aren't happy unless your unhappy.
Too many children, too little time!!!

  • Weezl - has anybody told you you look like Sue Perkins (from Mel and Sue?)

MrsT - you have lots of time for milk to come in ;) ...I however, have only 6 days left (nearly 5  ) until Bubba is due...although we keep telling him that anytime now will be fine!
