ooh I have an image of big dusty leather bound books :rotfl:I'm so weird!

I liked one thing which I liked in particular was just to infuse some oil like olive or veg with some black pepper, chillies and ginger and use as a warming muscle rub - I think it would smell nice too

Mmmm I'd be careful with that - bear in mind the reaction you get if you accidently get chilli in your eye or scratch your nose and have some on your fingers...

The active ingredient Capsaicin can be very potent and whilst you can buy oils with chili in specifically for applying to skin then it's not something I'd fancy getting wrong ;)

Mrs T, sorry to hear your work's being a pain again. Seems they aren't happy unless your unhappy.

No apparently not... however they might get a nasty shock tomorrow... someone a lot more senior has now got involved ;) Who thankfully so far thinks the same way as me - so we'll see what tomorrow brings.

A little... what general non medical question do you have? ;)

It can't be produced on an allotment though... can tell you that for nothing ;)

(btw for the nosey parkers out there - camphor is the active ingredient in Vicks vapor rub :) )

I don't think this counts as medical, but happy to delete it Glad if this crosses the line!

basically I crushed up moth balls with the aim of sprinkling them around as a mouse deterrant, we'd heard some scuttlings in the cupboard where our fridge freezer lives.

I think my pre-baby rigor about rodents meant that I was a bit too liberal, and now i feel i can taste it in the air. I know it can be toxic, so just wondered if I can do anything to gat rid of it! Can't pull fridge freezer out without breaking the cupboard-design flaw.

    Any thoughts?

Don't worry I doubt I'd ever get round to making it :p

Weezl - has anybody told you you look like Sue Perkins (from Mel and Sue?)

MrsT - you have lots of time for milk to come in ;) ...I however, have only 6 days left (nearly 5  ) until Bubba is due...although we keep telling him that anytime now will be fine!

She's so funny! I'd like to be like her! ;) But no, you're the first, it might just be that picture...

MFD I keep telling mine to stay put! please will you look after all my labour dust for me until I'm good and ready?! Thanks lovely! And help yourself to a handful while you're there. What else are you doing to speed Bubba along?

Uhmmmm firstly mothballs are an insect repellant - never heard of them repelling mice but that's a seperate matter - when you say too liberal... are we talking a couple, a dozen... 50?
My suggestion honestly would be to try and stick a hosepipe or something to the end of your hoover with gaffa tape or something and see if you can suck it up maybe?
And yes I'd try and get rid of it too... somehow...

  • Weezl - we have had a curry and sex and I have been walking and a little bouncing on my gym-ball (BTW be careful if they are not proper birthing balls ladies - they can pop apparently!).
Spicy fajitas for dinner this evening and I am hoping for some hula hooping on the wii before some bedtime gymnastics later (hubby has been put on no-questions-asked alert!)

I am also having BH very often and it is quite strong!

TMI alert - for hubbys who are bump-phobic when it comes to sex I am finding extra long foreplay the best way forward...:o

  • Mrs T sorry your still having a bad time at work.

I had my boss down today as I told her last week that I could not drive 3 days a week to my main office that is 40 miles away as my back and hips were just too sore.

She came down to me today and I expected her to say that I had no choice as my 2nd office (that is in my town) had no spare computers for me to use on those days, BUT...

She has arranged for one of the other girls to change her day off, so as of next week I only have to drive 2 days a week !!!!:T:T:T

I am luck though, as I am entitled to 8 months full pay on sick leave, so if they couldnt do anything, I would have gone off till mat leave started.
