That's the only reason I'm doing it!

I currently have my Certificate in Business Studies, and my end goal is to get a degree in Business. But if I want to get anything in between, I need BU130 :(

I did the B120 Business studies, DB123 U+ ur money, that covered the Cert in Business, same time was doing W100 Intro to Law got Certificate in that.

On B201 at mo, that finishes Oct, but start B203 Sept, if I pass those I think thats the Diploma, but I still need that damm BU130 for something,

Trying to tie the courses into as many qualifications as poss.

You'll need BU130 for your Diploma, as that's my problem too!

I'm intending to do B201 and B203 next year to get my Diploma, so you're about a year ahead of me.

Slightly off-topic, but did anyone else from W100 notice that in Unit 17, the texts continually referred to "Just deserts" when they meant "Just desserts"? Pretty bad (well, very bad!!) from an official university text - I hope the OU doesn't try and mark any W100 students down for spelling! ;)

Good luck with BU130 I just completed it and I passed! However, the learning contract wizard is a PITA. Use the hard copy your tutor supplies you with.

    Good luck x

I found a few when I studying the course so I reported them. Have also found a few errors in W200 and today a spelling mistake on an European Court of Justice judgment (on the official site). Just working out who to report it to :rotfl:

    Hi mum2one,

I find it easy but very time consuming. I'm glad I didn't choose to do two courses together.
The difference with W100 and W200 is that to get the higher marks in W200 you have to think and write a bit more for yourself. My marks are higher in W200 but I know plenty of people who are struggling with it. I guess it depends on how good you are at taking info and rewriting it in your own words and as you got 90% , I don't think you'll have any problem ;)

Thank you ur wonderful, I concentrated on business and took a break from Law, was going to do it on the 09/10 year, but the OU made a boob with my application doing business they've said if I want to do W200 have to pay the lot, if I had of applied all in one go I would of paid £400 towards it.
So its going on hold for a yr.. x

It's not a cheap course either. I managed to save £1200 in Tesco Clubcard vouchers so that made the dent in the bank balance more bearable. Not sure where I am going to find the funds for W201 yet....
