Rufus - lovely flowers, great win! Think we can safely say they are from your Mum via John Lewis. We always take comfort from when we see my Nans favourite bird in the garden, its like shes watching over us. Turned up the day I got keys to my new house. No other birds, just that one, and I just smiled because she must of liked the house (i probably sound like a loon!)

bunbun2 - i dont have a lot to say either but always manage a random wittering to do everyone's head in and clog up the thread!! what is the next occasion that you are preparing for? how is it going?X

thanks bunbun - I could 'literally' feel the weight lift from my shoulders. I think it must be a low birth rate year too as it is the top rated best ofsted school - I have been so lucky - still want to get moved but no rush now, she's in. Good luck with seconday school - I think it gets harder for secondary school??!! more competition.

We got our letters yesterday re secondary school. Luckily we are near our first choice so got in ok. Sadly a really good friend og mine, not only didn't get her son into any of her 3 choices but he's been allocated one further away!! Plus it's the worse school in our area she is devastated and the whole family have been crying about it!! I's so awful, I feel bad but there is nothing I can do except be a shoulder to cry on, someone to vent with etc etc.

Well done on getting your school scatty it is a great feeling!
