Mel the new work on your blog is gorgeous. I just ordered basic grey sugared range. I like how you cut the bottom bit on your lo. I wish I had a style like yours.
I did music magpie and got 45.00, but there was some stuff they didn't want so I'm going to try them on cex - me and hubby are also going to go through our good cd's with a fine tooth comb as there are some cd's where I only like two songs - I can download 2 of them onto my ipod and then trade in the cd. I'm keeping the dvds for my car bot sale as they would only give me 15p for some of them and I know I can get a pound for dvd's at a car boot. Not getting rid of my absolute faves like no doubt, etc; but it won't leave many
Jordanshannon - you look very busy.
Jammy I second what mel said - before and after progress of your house for your blog
I have nothing to do so I'm having a lovely lazy morning on here and about to start crafting...I'm all tidy as the viewers we were supposed to have changed their mind - the husband is keen but she isn't and the estate agent said they were arguing about it but the women normally win these kinds of arguments so it didn't look good. Running out of options - ea was looking into doing a half page spread on our house to get more interest!
All ready to get on with my exploding box and mam's jar, dd is glued to the spiderwick chronicles so I'm free. I bought one of those card houses too that you decorate and I have in stitchez templates on order - having so much fun ...cards and lo's galore to do too...0 -
Morning all
My flowers have come today :j:j:j They are from John Lewis and came with a nice vase too. OH has taken a pic so will show you all later, I am sure they are from my Mum lol.
We had a good afternoons shop up the town yesterday, I bought some interlocking beads for kids in a charity shop the other week but the box wasnt all that so wanted something nice to put them in for Grandaughters birthday, well i found a nice lilac coloured shopping bag, its small enough for a 5 yr old but big enough to fit all the beads in. We found her two nice dresses too in the same shop, someone must have been having a good sort out as the dresses are beautiful, ones from next and ones from M&S and they are both shift dresses with beads on, very posh. So that will be her just about done for, just want to get her some of those pink sprinkles for cake making as the cooking basket they got for xmas has started something round there and they do baking every week.
OH also bought me two tops from same shop which look like they have never been worn and fit nicely so very pleased with myself today. Saw a lovely hand bag in there too but I didnt have enough money on me but OH has just said if I want to go up and see if its still there I can have it as part of my birthday present for next month so guess where I'm off too in a minute lol.
Checked my bank this morning and I have had an extra dla payment of £60 which I think must be bad weather payment. I wasnt expecting it so its an added bonus. Just wondering whether I can use it towards my money neutral pot? OH pays the heating bills so it doesnt come out of my money, I only have the child benefit and DLA as "my money" plus the little bits I earn from daily clicks etc. I dont count the CB or DLA in my money neutral but wouldnt mind counting this extra payment lol
Anyway got to get my boots on and get up the town to see if my bags still there. Catch you all later xx0 -

RUFUSDOG similar thing happened to me - I never win anything but last year on my mam's birthday I was at the crop where she used to go to with some of her friends and they did a draw for a bobunny kit worth over 20 pounds - they pulled my name out the hat - I won and on my mam's birthday - everyone said she's just making sure she gets to join in somehow - nearly cried. It was funny that I received a present like that on my mam's birthday - it was the kind of thing I would probs have got her if she were still here.
Right I AM SO HAPPY - the main reason for moving is to get dd into the infants of the nursery I have her in - I am not in the catchment area for it and we were starting to stress about selling house and if we didn't get moved she'd have to go to the local school which is awful (they just rebuilt it after a pupil burnt it down)!!I don't live in the greatest of areas right now. I said I would homeschool her if I couldn't get her in which I didn't want either as she has made some lovely friends and the teachers have done amazing things - she had a bit of a behaviour problem after mam died so I didn't want to uproot her again and cause more upset but...enough babble I got a letter in the post today saying she has been accepted for first choice infant school - SOOOOoooooo happy - it's a huge weight off my mind so much so my cheeks are flushed I'm so relieved, still want to move but it means she doesn't have to suffer because of the current economic crisis affecting house sales and we're not in as much of a hurry
Oh and my sugared range papers have come and my instich'z stuff - so excited to try them but ordered the threads from somewhere else.0 -
:bdaycake: :T :T :T :T    just realised that was post 1,000, think I said the 6th or 7th did anybody get any closer - what did everyone guess??? deserves some celebratory cake and beer.0

scattymam I am so pleased for you that your dd has got a place in the school you want her to go to. that must be such a weight off your mind. my two went to an infant school and are now at a junior school both outside our catchment area. it is so stressful waiting for the letter isn't it? we have been lucky so far - ds1 seems to be in a low year. next year we have to apply for secondary school again outside the catchment area and unfortunately we can't afford to move. Like you I have said i will homeschool if he doesn't get in!
sorry I haven't posted for a while - not really been in the mood and not had alot to say!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0
