Well done Scattymum on the 1000th post, got to have a look who got the nearest date and will update later. xx

Chocoalte Orange was the closest with 1st March, well done,

The prize is a surprise, x

PS - Digressing slightly, the £60 xmas bonus being paid by DHSS, is an additional one off cold weather payment, the just of it is for those over 60, that get the winter fuel allowance, and also those on qualifying benefits that got the £25pw cold weather payments, anyine over 60 would of got their payment, Jan, for those under 60 the money is being pd March/April 2009. A present off the goverment.

It's not a cold weather payment :) It's just a bonus. Something to do with the £10 christmas bonus we get in December. I don't qualify for cold weather payments but I did get this because i'm on DLA and my OH got it because he gets carers allowance :) Still a very nice little pressie off the goverment ;) :j

quick hello before I dash back out again.....! I think tomorrow night I get a rest!

Hayley:Grumpy son is actually just what it says on the tin!! He is coming up for 14 years and a typical response is 'uhuh' followed by a heavy sigh, real Kevin and Perry stuff. He is lovely sometimes and I do love him dearly but sometimes despair that i will have my chatterbox son back again! he also had more manners as a 3 year old than he does as a 13 year old! I think it is typical behaviour for his age and I'm looking forward to seeing his teachers at school tonight.

It has just started to snow again, most of it is all away from this morning.
    Have a good evening Mx

I'm back from seeing my friend and her gorgeous little baby. Oh my god she was beautiful, I could have just held her all day long! She looked really big on the pictures but she is really small! I was so scared of picking her up so after about 20 minutes, I thought right be brave, I picked her up and she started crying :rotfl: she stopped pretty much straight away though :D She had the most gorgeous little babygro on too and I thought, this would make really nice crafty paper :rotfl:

Hopefully going up to see her again tomorrow :j

Who needs anti-depressants, I could just hold her everyday and she'd keep me happy :D

ETA - We had snow before, just as I set off I might add  It was weird though, it looked like somebody was breaking up polystyrene over my head (they weren't, I checked ;)) It's quite sunny now, make your mind up mr weather man :rotfl:

Bikerchick - do we see a wedding or a mse baby? xx
Definitely no patter of tiny feet due to the fact that I'm 42, he's 47 and my daughter is 21 today, so don't you lot start knitting for me!

You wouldn't think at 42 I'd still get so excited when that little envelope pops up on my phone, but I've been single for a year so I do!

    You lot are so bad!
We've both been married before and when we met (on Valentines Nights) we actually had a conversation about second marriages and both of us said we'd never do it again.
I've been divorced for four years, he's been divorced for seventeen years! My last relationship which ended a year ago was with mr 'totally wrong' and have kinda stayed in since then.
I was working in the pub on Valentines night, and his son forced him go out, so I think fate played a hand in us meeting.
