    Morning Ladies

As for Furry's post. we do not have any central heating so none to turn off or down, only have a gas fire in the living room and thats not on for ages. I applied for warm front grant earlier in the year and had the men round to estimate, got a letter saying we still had to pay well over a grand out of our own money which we didnt have, but have recieved another letter this week to say the grants have been changed by the government and now we only need to find £400 which is still a lot but may be we can find it some how, we have 6 months before the estimate runs out.

As to Jammys challenge for this month I know we dont have any old magazines anywhere but might get to the boot fair this morning so will keep a look out.

Had 3 wins on Bingoports yesterday morning, was just thinking it was time I had a win again lol. Have some Quidco money to be paid for next month from some bits OH bought and I actually managed to get him to go through quidco for me. About £30 to come on there.

I am up to 25 out of 30 presents for OH's birthday now as I bought two big packs of socks (£4 for 7 pairs in Peacocks and buy one pack get next half price so 14 pairs for £6) and opened them up and made 4 presents from them (have put one by for my sons birthday this month). I used the clear sweet bags and put about 3 or 4 pairs in each bag rolled up then tied the top with ribbon. Will be getting a bar of Galaxy as another present so just 4 more to find.

Morning all.....having a bit of a lazy morning had a long lie, which is a rarity for me!

You would all have been proud of me yesterday....walked away from the photographers with my deposit back in my account! We took the teeny weeny photo that was free but I was so tempted to pay an extra £20 to get the big one , which is of course how they make their money. There were some fantastic photos of them all, two at at a time and then on their own but we wanted one of the 3 of them so had it narrowed down to 2 photos and chose the one of the 3 of them piled on top of each other with grumpy son at the bottom!

It takes 4 weeks for the photo to be ready...what's that all about! Obviously seeing to the paying guests first!
Then went to ginormous Tesco and spent £30 on ????? but I will need to go to my tesco tonight for my usual shopping!

Got some gardening done yesterday and had hoped to do the same today but weather not sure what it's up to....sunny and then showery.
Kids and OH off tomorrow but I'll be working.

Hope everyone is well and you all have a good May bank holiday weekend

Hello all. Lovely sunny day but my word.........talk about wind. Went outside and nearly got blown to next door :rotfl:
So, retreated back inside and finished off MIL's cross stitch coaster (thanks to rainmac for the help) so thats another pressie done. Done a bit more to oldest sons little scrap book -well its a little board book really - so I'm getting to the point where I can tick a few boxes and say 'job done' !!
    Least hope so.

Tuesday I'll go into town and get some more empty shoe boxes to cover and some more scrapbook paper for that job - must rummage in spare room and see what's lurking there that's half done that I can finish off.

    Enjoy your day:j
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Well as he said you need one then suggest that he buys you one ;)

Mary glad to hear you can nearly tick the boxes! wish I could say the same lol

Well I have been crafty this morning and made a card, I am itching to make more but I really want to make a nice red card although have no red papers ... might have to go to boundary mill on tuesday ... see if I can persuade OH to buy me some ;)
I went to work last night and spent 4 hours dancing around behind the bar, my leg is absolute agony and I even took painkillers before going to work yet they did nothing, I need to go back and see the doctors I think :( can't go on like this! :(
