Have posted a lil comment on our thread on uks Plums, so as not to fill here up with too much scrapbooking, already filled it up enough today with weight talk, lol
You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground
  • Haha paddington, when i was little mum used to take me to bootfairs with all my stuff and i used to run after them screaming and crying because they had brought my stuff, i wanted to keep it all :D :rotfl: and because i was such a madam i will never take my children (when i eventually have them) to sell at a bootfair :D lol
I need to do ebay......hmmmmnnn........i feel another list coming on :rotfl:

Oona, i wrote on your wall on facebook but will post here too:

Do people get annoyed when I chat on the thread about scrapbooking and weight loss and life? Sylph has posted the scrapping stuff elsewhere, Jammy has started the diet thing on her blog.. There seems to be little comments here and there about it.

I created the original organized for christmas thread following the organizedchristmas plan but ended up making friends and delving a lot deeper then that. The thread evolved into a warm cottage to come park yourself next to a fire, take your boots off and drink a hot chocolate whilst telling us all about your bargains.

Is this not the case anymore? I don't want to annoy anyone when I update you on my crafting or write 10 posts of silliness in 5 minutes.

There are allocated days for certain activities so that there is always something going on. I know there are sealed pot threads, I know there are challenge challenge threads, diet threads, crafting threads etc etc but I thought the whole point was that we all like to be right here and share everything, in the comfort of our safe thread. That is what keeps us all buzzing and so interesting.. there is always something new and diverse to learn from each other.

Do you all just want to be thrifty and gifty and I am polluting it and mascarading the thread as something it is not.

:rotfl:God bless you PLM as if you could annoy any of us! We loves you!:T We loves all the chats from everyone, thats what makes the thread the thread, I was just being paranoid about clogging up the thread so decided not to for once :o

Edited to add: although I am acutely aware that whilst we haven't had problems for being 'off topic' on this thread, other threads have on other boards, and I would hate our chat to have to be moved elsewhere, so I do try to relate it vaguely to being thrifty or gifty (hence my occasional random "hows eBay going everyone?" :D) but I absolutely love the chat :D just you try and stop me!

for once I have actually got my backside into gear and done loads of clearing! I threw loads of papers away, filed loads and the two storage boxes are still full  I was really ruthless and threw away things I had kept for years.

mel ds2's guitar is a 1/2 size classical. fairly straightforward but not very easy to get hold of locally. most places only do a 3/4. although he is 8 he is small with tiny hands so needs a 1/2 size. the one he had before got broken at school when he took it in for his lesson:mad:

rainmac hope your ds is feeling better and the antibiotics are starting to work. they usually work fairly quickly so he should be better by Saturday. thank you for the link to the freebie/trial website. I have signed up. good news about the wedding cards:T
