Hmm you could always use the scales in Boots. I know it is like 30p a week but it would stop you from being obsessive and would be really exciting each week to get your reading. Nice and accurate. I don't know how you got those measurements... but whatever :p Then again.. size 14 is not exactly big but I think 14/16 got tarred with the fat brush and now people are obsessed. We all thought you was beautiful.. you can't be a size 8 again because Ryan will snap you in half should any strenuous bedroom activities arise.. ARISE!! HAHAHAHAHAH

Oona is a bad influence on me.. that is all I am saying.

    K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We loves da K

I havent opened any pressies until the little 2 are here. They tend to get upset if they miss'the fun' So that will be something to save until later. But i couldnt resist opening Ruths :D That was opened this morning before school.

So far this morning i have had Minstrals for breakfast :o and eldest DS made me a coffee :T Now that might not seem like anything. But i think its been over a year since he last made me one. He usually starts one, then forgets and goes to do something else
Its the big 40 next year though  :o Dont know where that snook up from ...But i feel a party coming on ;)

I should be a magician, I'm obviously good at illusions, its all smoke & mirrors ya know.
I think its a feeling healthy thing, rather than a fat thing. I've been feeling sluggish, & unfit since christmas, so if I can trim the belly a bit, & turn it into a tum (lol), & lose a lil bit all over its all a plus - & it means a good excuse to buy new clothes if I get down a size :D Size 8 is rather unattainable, dont think I'll ever be that size again.

    thanks plums xx
You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground
  • Hmmmm Mel eating Mars bars for breakfast ....was that because it was my birthday ?;) Can i borrow your assistant ?

Sylphraven Tape measures are baaaaaaad Unless you use them for something other than measuring ( note to self ,dont use metal one it chaffes your wrists  :rotfl: ) I want a lesson of you to disguise my size !!! :rotfl:

Jammy I want to start too. But i am fat so can i fit my fat ? :rotfl: and i am not starting until tomorrow ........ I want cake :p

Mel - ha ha my last post today I meant cos I've rambled on enough.
I love writing bud don;t think I'm that good, and my spelling on here is atrocious since I got this netbook cos the keys are so close together!

Off to nursery now, then to my dad's to use his computer to work on assignment and list 3 ebay things. Have 20mins to leave and we're not even dressed yet!!!

Thanks rusty -that's exactly what I meant. Will have a shifty at car boot sales for tablecloths, may be cheaper - I have loads of ribbon.

    Afternoon ladies

You lot are so funny, make my day reading up all your posts.

Got some nice bargains yesterday, bought a camoflage jacket in sports direct for Grandson1 for £10 so thats his birthday finished once I have finished knitting his jumper.

Was looking for a nice bag or something for Daughter2's make up and found a lovely gold and pink make up bag in the charity shop which was brand new with four bottles of pink bath stuff inside for £1.25 so will make up a lovely basket for her. OH is going to give her money to go with it so thats her done too. Also found two more great gift sets, one was a red bath bomb pack which looked really expensive but was only £1.75 so will be using it to make Son's GF a nice red themed basket for xmas, may be some red socks and other stuff. Also got another set which looks like a cardboard hand bag and it has pink lip gloss and nail varnish in it and something else cant remember what though, looks like it would suit a young girl so will be adding it to my youngest nieces present. This set was only £1 so very pleased with my bargains. Also bought myself a gorgeous lilac coloured jumper for £2.99.

Will be giving ex MIL her waistcoat tomorrow so fingers crossed she will like it.

Have just about finished OH's birthday book, just this year to do and not much to put in it yet so leaving the last page until later on in the year. Glad thats out of the way now, can hide it in my wardrobe and forget about it for a few months.

I have never felt so organised with my gift buying so really glad I found this thread. Nearly everything is accounted for in some way. Only big thing to get really is a new winter coat for my Dad, was hoping to see one in the sales but havent been able to find the kind he wears. He is 85 this year and likes to wear the black woolen coats like an over coat but not as long and with the front neck a bit higher, the one he has now is double breasted so his front isnt all open. I bought it in Primark a few years ago when I was still working there and it cost me a fiver lol but its looking a little worse for wear now so want to replace it. Still I have all year to find one as its for Christmas.

Anyway I have supposed to have been cooking roast dinner all morning but have been doing the book instead so better push on and get the dinner on.

    Talk later xxx
