Rusty - I think your painting is fab, I have done some paintings myself and if I was you where you have done that blob underneath, make it into a wavy thick line underlining the pic, it will look fine. Will see if I can find a pic of the painting I did for my Dad of my Mum and put it on, try to do at least one every now and then, have done all my grandchildren and some of stars for nieces xmas a few years ago.
Went in Wilkinsons and ended up buying some white wool for a jacket I want to do one of my grandsons for his ice hockey team. Also bought some small hardback note books for 44p each to cover for nieces as extra presents.0 -
Heres Mum, I got a tiny blob on this one but left it as it was. Its quite a big canvas, about 20" x 16".0 -

Your painting is lovely! I could never do something like that! how long did it take you? mine is tiny in comparison!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
It didnt take long to do, just 2 days I think. I print out a big picture the same size as the canvas, ( do it on a4 then stick them together) as I am no good at changing the size up and down, prefer to copy from the same size pics. I have paint shop pro on my computer and in it you can shange the photo to posterize which makes it go like a pop art poster so its easier to copy the different colours as they are all blocks. Heres another couple I did, one of Jude Law and one of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack.
I think going over it in white would be good on yours.0 -
Rusty, I was assuming my littlies have got a stomach bug, but maybe its the same as yours, they don't seem to be in loads of pain though which I thought gastroenteritis was like (I think I had that once), will see how they go on today as to whether to go to the docs...

I love all your work!
We're back from Italy, which was fun except for all the smokers and my OH getting sick, and we're settling down being grown up and married and all. Anyone who wants to see pictures can PM and I'll link you to our picture, but I'd rather not post it publicly.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hi all!
Survived another day at work went in early hoping to get away early but was thee late and was asked to do something and I said no as I wanted to get home to the poorly people!!
hubby has to go to Newcastle tomorrow so he'll be up early flying up from Gatwick, staying over and driving to Workington so by the time he comes home on Thursday night he will be shattered esp after being in doors since last Thursday night feeling ill!!
I took the kids to the drs as they are still swallowing paracetamol and ibruprofen liquid every 5 mins! DS has tonsilitis and DD has an ear infection so after stocling up on my pain killers I had to collect 2 lots of antibiotics!! So home from school again tomorrow bless them at least it's my day off, fingers crossed they will be better on Thursday as I'm meant to be working then hopefully all will be fine for friday as I am going up North to the NEC!!!!0
