Morning Ladies, Haha you two are so funny with your chattering, you make me feel so old at 50 lol, and its my birthday next month so will then be over 50 so into the second half.
Havent got much done towards presents this weekend as was out Saturday, did a bit of knitting yesterday but long way to go on son's jumper.
He popped in just now, wants to start buying things round the boot fairs and charity shops to sell on Ebay. Asked me if I would like to do it with him but we were both at a loss as to what to look out for. Suppose it will be trial and error. The boot fairs should be starting round our way in the next few weeks.
Got a voucher from one of my sites yesterday for £6 to spend in High St so will have a look in Wilkinson's tomorrow for a couple of small bits for OH's 30 presents, may be a Lynx and something.
Back to my knitting, have a nice day xxx0 -
Hello everyone, I'm having a good day today, started my 15 minutes of cleaning/tidying and it ended up as an hour and a half and the house looks so much better. Just need to hoover through. Also had a go at some of the Quidco clicks on mum2one's fab list so should have earned some money today too! It's sunny here and thinking of walking to school to pick up DS1, about 40 minute walk but takes longer to get home as DS1 dawdles
Shelley, love your nappy cake :T 40 minutes you say, that would take me about 40 hours :rotfl:
Rusty, my HB doesn't sell shadow frames eitherI think the Pink Lady instructed HB to send them all to her store and cos she's a celebrity on the web and in magazines they obliged
PLM, love love love your latest blog updates, you are so clever and pretty and not at all old. I am 9 years older than you, I am the old one
Rufusdog, buying to sell sounds like a good idea to make some money. Just get to the fairs early so you get your pick of the good stuff
Made up the personalised kitkat bars for DS1's party last night so onto the Swamp Shake tonight (choccie milkshake and marshmallows in a cello cone) and then party bags will be finished :T
Have a good rest of the day everyone x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Sarah ... is it that close already? Can I have my birthday first please then I get lovely pressies!!!
I have been kicking off with OH this morning as I am asking his opinions on things and he is being a big pain! ... ah well they are useless! My son has gone on a school trip this morning and I am about to deliver a nappy cake then go spend some pennies in wilkos on frames etc(thanks for inspiring me and making me spend money MEL
Ok sorry, You can have your birthday and all your lovely pressies. I'm not having a birthday this year, sick of trying to keep everyone happy. So I'm staying in with OH and the Kids and might just get Drunk!!
Sarah

Hi all from a lurker!!
I was never going to post again as you are all so young but Rufusd!!!2 has made me feel a bit better!!
No wonder you are all so creative - I love reading and seeing what you have done and make a mental list to do some myself but don't quite manage it- trying hard to be money neutral by earning vouchers etc though.
Will try harder in future0 -

Don't be a lurker, come and join in, everyone's so friendly and willing to share knowledge etc. Hopefully we can all learn to be thriftier (not sure if this is a real word) together and have a bit of fun along the way

hi
Hope u dont think I'm being cheeky, just a thought re ebay (actually cant take the credit - was on one of those tv selling programmes), if your going for a 10 day listing, list on a Thursday, (ideallly afternoon, early evening) so that it ends on a Sunday - the theory is people are more liable to log on, on a sunday afternoon and u also get the last minute bidders.
Thats a good time plan, hope it works out for you. xx
