    hi shelley,
you can guestimate price by using the size thing on post office website. If you charge £2.50 for postage and its only £2 when you get there, thats fine. If you charge £2.50 and its only £0.30 someone may complain! Don't undersell yourself on postage though! newbies always end up losing money on postage. Ask us if we can help with it and we will. Sounds like fun doing your DS's room!!

I had a late night working (2.30) and got woken up by workmen at 7.45. I'm SO tired, as I've onl yhad about 5hrs kip each night this week. So busy at work, and the boss who I am supposed to start working for in April is starting to stress me out and I havent even started working for him yet :( I feel like I have a mountain on my head!!! :( Boo hoo me! haha! :D

Shelly - I used to use my kitchen scales to weigh things to get a rough idea of postage, I print my postage off online as well, and I use my scales for that too :D Once you've sold a few things, you'll start to know roughly how much to charge for things. Don't forget to include packaging costs in the postage you charge though :)

Jammy - You sound so rushed off your feet, take it easy missus! Just take some time each day, turn off your computer, your phone, everything and relax! We don't want you getting all stressed out and making yourself ill now do we? Do I sound like your mum? :rotfl: Sowwy :p
 Think happy & you'll be happy

    Welcome everyone new.

    Rant warning!
I so wish I had a sibling then my mother would have someone else to phone and irritate :rotfl:.

She rang to see if DD had a nice birthday and enjoyed her party - ok then says to her I'll ring back later to speak to your mum then i can talk to her for longer - big brownie points to DD says you can talk to her now :D.

(best explain that my ex is getting married in July) The only thing she has to tell me is that my cousin who used to be my exs boss has received and evening invite - big whoop and to say isnt it early to be sending invites  Do I need to know this - NO! She also asked me if OH got on ok at his interview so told her its next week.

She's just wanting to know if we're moving to Newcastle so she can get all uptight again. It's me who does all the travelling to go to the @!!! end of the world to see them so why is it her problem????? I've lived up here for 6 years and she's been up once admittedly she's getting on a bit so it's a long way for her to drive but there are trains and coaches and it's me that should get uptight :rotfl:. I always get asked if we're thinking of moving closer every time I go down and some comment about how far it is and how long the journey is. They think 10 minutes away is too far.

Ok rant over - breathe - lol

DD made me go jogging on her Wii fit this evening - think my Wii age should have been more than 46 once I'd finished but I whooped her on the hoola hooping :rotfl:.

Now I've got over the shock of a potential move I'm quite keen. Although I think he wants to live in Whitley Bay which is where he stays when he works up there. Interview is Thursday at 2pm so will soon know one way or the other :o. Not sure how DD will feel though it would be yet another upheaval for her but she's already lived in 4 houses in the last few years and a fantastic excuse for a clear out
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Hi everyone and welcome newbies (although I am quite a newbie myself)

Jammy - Thanks for your post (several pages back) about posting on here, I do sometimes refrain from posting as I don't want people to think I have missed them out...but I always read all the posts and I just absolutely love this thread :heartpuls

Rainmac, hope you have a lovely evening with your hubby x

Rusty - Sorry about your sister problems, what is it they say 'you can choose your friends etc....' well you have loads on here..and I know where you are coming from about your daughter, mine are hard but absolutely adorable at the same time :D

Shelley - good luck at slimming club - cadbury creme eggs are about a quarter of the size they were when I was younger - so they are probably in negative calories now anyway :D

mghaster after reading your post I have worked out that I will be 39 and 10 months this Saturday  so intend on making the most of my last 2 months in my 30's by......buying more craft stuff and looking on here for inspiration no doubt....

Regarding all the sibling stuff, my sis is 13 years younger than me (I do have 2 brothers in between) and I got on great with here when she was a tot, then sort of lost it with here in her teens but now we are great friends and I love her loads..she is having her 2nd baby in a few weeks and I am soooo excited :j just a shame she lives hundreds of miles away as I am in Lancs at the moment and my family live in Middlesex...

Paddington, You Mum sounds a lot like mine, we moved away 8 years ago now and I would actually like to move back near to my family, but she is so obvious with her comments etc. it really riles me sometimes!! I must say though she does visit a few times a year...

Anyway have a great evening all...xx

am just catching up after spending the evening rushing about! OH was out doing a spanish evening for the Beavers followed by a committee meeting, ds1 started a new theatre group at 6.30 and ds2 had his tae kwondo grading also at 6.30 the other side of town:eek: I managed to find someone to take ds2 to the grading so took him there, dropped ds1 off then went to pick ds2 up! why does everything happen on the same day. ds2 passed his grading which was really good. I am so proud of him:j ds1 isn't back yet so don't know how he got on - just hope I can get him out of bed tomorrow morning!

shelly well done on your weight loss:T
