Furrypig Weird that you're 42 as well. Where abouts in Surrey do you live? I lived in Banstead until I was 19, we could have been at scool together!

I only moved to Surrey 7.5 years ago and I was brought up in Essex but don't tell anyone!! I went to a comprehensive in Essex!!! I'm not a posh Surrey girl at all!

Yay another Essex girl - I'm not blonde and I don't particularly like chips :rotfl:.

    Xmas Saver!
Thanks Hayley. It just seems to be an awful lost of hassle :(

I have been known to weigh smaller items on the kitchen scales, and I usually add 50p on to postage, covers the paper, and allows for a small margin of error.

Good morning to everyone, snow has all gone and it is a lovely morning.......a little fresh perhaps!
Just heading out to work, I'm glad it's Friday. It has been a very quick week but a busy one so looking forward to relaxing a bit this weekend.

just like the mum in 'The Mom song' I was shouting to untidy daughter don't forget the orthodontist at 3.30pm , I too must not forget and come straight home....

Anyway, have a thrifty, gifty, crafty day everyone

Morning everyone - feeling very tired this morning had a rubbish sleep last night but hey ho I will just crack on with it :D

Just awaiting the in laws to arrive so will be having lots of cuppas and a catch up with them for the next few hrs.

I am popping to Sainsburys shortly to stock up on a few diet things but intending on sticking to a very frugal budget .

Rusty - you have a very busy day ahead - good luck ;)

My family are near Southend so I go there quite a bit especially as it's much better for bargains than Guildford!!
