How much pleasure can a girl derive from running back to tell random strangers what I've done, LOL! There I was wiping down my tumble drier feeling all pleased with myself and couldn't wait to finish so I could cross it off my list!
lol!! That's the magic of this thread.
I've stopped asking myself that question and decided I am just a little weird. Just enjoy it!
HCC is half hour challenge.
You spend a half hour on one job that needs doing. You can ask others to join you when you set a time slot.
HHI is Half hour Ironing. Same as HHC.

Ok.... it's action stations now, I've got an 8yr old coming to sleepover with DD2 and DD1's mate coming for a sleepover too. I'm still in my PJ's... !!!!!!!Although my kitchen is gleaming!!
Oh, DD1's mate has just arrived.... hmmmm.... he's becoming seriously adolescent  I thought he was coming for a sleepover... but he's got nothing with him???He needs a good scrub though! What is it with boys and their aversion to water?
Now...given the recent news item about the 12yr old procreating with a 15yr old.... if he is staying over, should I let him sleep in the same room as her, which is what they've always done? DD1 is 11 (12 next month ) and he's 12.HELP

Well, week started with a phone call from dentist. Problems at dental lab so app. for tomorrow now rescheduled for next Monday. Which means I have to hang on to these wobbly teeth for another week
However, the snow is going (still some dodgy pavements) so
took car over to PO and collected parcel from last week
took summer coat into cleaners (at last)
put ICE numbers on to mobile(even more at last) - thanks to whoever posted that link
put snow clearing stuff away
put yesterday's washing away
sent an email to OU regional office (got fed up being put on hold every time I phoned)
Hopefully have freecycled some old patterns

Put them in different rooms and have done with it.
I must be old fashioned, but the news of the 12 & 15 year old really does shock me, 12 year olds IMO should not even be thinking about having sex, (know about it yes) but doing it!    :eek:Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

It's not just boys.
I have a row with my 13 yr old DD everytime I tell her to go take a shower. (which is only every other day...) She HATES it with a passion and she hates me for making her... ;-)
As to the sleepover?... I don't know your DD. Do you think she's getting ready for that sort of thing? Is she interested at all in boys/kissing and sex?
If she's showing any interest in the boyfriend thing, i'd not let them stay in the same room I think.
If she's still 'young' and they are both not showing any interest I might consider it. But you know them and I don't. So hard to say.
Maybe ask her subtly?

Ohh, what happened? I love DM as it's so easy to watch, same as murder she wrote - nothing to think about, you know the result before it's finished and easy watching when you want to switch off your brain... PM me with what happened, just looked on iplayer and it's not there (why do they pick and choose what they will put on there? )

Not sur I'll complete the list today, we are going out tonight so need to start getting ready soon, cause my mother is collecting DD at about 5.30 and she will probably stay for a chat!!
I also dusted and hoovered the LR and hoovered and turned the cushions on sofa and chairs, how did you do Hex2 and JJ?0 -
I spent my HHC putting the WM on and cleaning out the fish who STILL are not dead. They are enormous and seem to thrive on neglect.
Need to do something about the kitchen still so a 16.15-16.45 for me. Just need to get the littles to tidy the playroom enough for me to hoover up the mud some pesty child has walked through.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
