DS has been on the pc so I couldn't post but I am cleaning my dining room. Have also emptied diolls house and dismantled it and wiped it down. The box is in the loft BUT if I bring it down Iand fill it I will NEVER get it back up there - too heavy so am am mulling this one over...
What about taking the stuff into the loft and packing it into the box when you're there? Or half packing before you put up and just fill the rest up when you get up there?
Am about to start on the study... I have just piled everything onto my desk and will start sorting through it and put into piles on the bed... then I'll start going through it... nightmare.... so much to do...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
snag is Flower I can't get into the loft - too scared as I have to stand on the ladder and haul myself through. So I normally pop my head through and everything I need xmas decs/fans/decorating equipment I keep in arm's reach. The box for the house is 'over the bathroom' and out of arm's reach...
I could pop the stuff up one panel at a time though and lay it carefully on the suitcase with the old sheets in...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

A nice sweet cup of tea may help, especially if feeling thirsty too, you may also be a bit dehydrated, in which case water obviously... Tea cures everything though, so my mum always says...:D
I did my HHI during neighbours (well, half neighbours and half H&A after I finished my lunch) so I am definitely all complete now...:jLBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

Thought you had a strapping young lad for stuff like that? That's what I get my DS (also 15) to do, he moans a lot but it does get done... (I don't like heights either, usually, me balancing on the chair and moaning/crying a lot gets him out to do it for me..;) )
Mozzy, yes, you're right about the kickboards, they're not the ones you scoot around on, but that sounds like a great idea! :rotfl:LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
they won't go up for me - DD's best she's got very good upper body strength and gets up really easily - but off they have gone...
On 'the list' (you've all got one like this) is 'get a proper loft ladder fitted'. One day...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Don't get me started on loft ladders, Valli - I've been asking my DH to put ours up since we moved in 3 years ago - but it needs a new loft hatch first that latches down - I've threatened him that if it isn't done by the end of this month, then I'm getting someone in to do it and HE will be paying - its the old until this is done, can't do that, scenario and this piece of the house jigsaw is holding up the rest of the jobs (laundry room/garage/boarding more of the loft/downstairs loo etc.) Ooops, sorry about that rant
.
1st HHS done - next one on way.....I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -

Monday - Kitchen and Dining room
ALL DONE!:D:D:D
All that's left to do now is finish dismantling the wardrobe and carry two double and one singe wardrobe upstairs. Think I'll wait for DH for all that though!
So much for sitting down for half an hours peace after all the work's done....DD2 has just woken up. Might throw her in the car and do a tip / charity shop run.0
