Durr me - isn't my DS going out with a joiner's daughter....
I will ask him to quote me for fitting a loft ladder. Now if I can just fix DD up with an electrician's son...(rewire)
    or a glaziers (misted units)
or a carpet fitters (right through)
or a laminate floor layer (dining room)
or a kitchen fitter (kitchen) (mind you GF's dad does them, too...)
so now I just need the wherewithall to pay the man!

Okay HHI done so I need to put away the clothes that I've ironed (there's still a load more to do) and get back to the kitchen.

Screwfix have decent loft ladders in for £25 ish.. we would get one but they only go up to 10ft and our ceilings are 12ft!

Well you can jump two feet can't you? :rotfl:

are you one of those lovely houses like on The Boulevard?

Oh I'll come in for the HHC at 3.30.
I have turned the heating off it's so warm! (it should have come on at three)
I have put the doll's house panels in the attic and put the Duplo and Lego up there too. So I have also cleaned the top of DD's wardrobe (needed the ladder) as that was the only bit of her room left unscathed during her massive four day flinging session. That's where the Lego and Duplo was...
So at 3.30 I'll do the kitchen!

Five hours of hard work and I am now shattered - but the garden/patio look lovely ready for our visitors at the weekend. Need to tidy the greenhouse, prune the wisteria and start the spring tidy on the borders but that can wait now as it has suddenly gone cold outside. At least if it rains for the rest of the week I will not have to be ashamed of outside. The house on the other hand is rapidly taking on dirty pit status as I have ignored most tasks since finishing the Friday list. I suspect ten minutes sitting down is fatal but I just need a rest before I start again. Actually I will join the 3.30 HHC instead and make a start on todays list.
