    In my HHC I:

    WM x 1
    Put ironed clothes away
Cleared and wiped all sides apart from 1
Got my handheld steam cleaner out which I've never used and I don't know where the instructions are but had a go with it on the oven and grill doors - problem now is that it's empty and the reservoir lid won't come off - is it because it's still warm? Does anyone know?
Don't know whether to put the oven back together again now or see if I can take the lid off the reservoir later so I can use it again - I only need the hob for tea so won't make any difference in that respect.

  • i agree re oven - today i have cleaned the hob - but not the bits that go on it. I have had a small attempt at the bottom of the oven and my best effort is the glass bits of the door that come out. That was pure elbow grease despite anything i put on it i had to use elbow grease!! Next week will attempt bottom of oven properly and inside grill - BABY STEPS !!! right off to mr T on my new cash only shop and using up storecupboard stuff - I WILL DO THIS that was my inspirational mantra!!!

well it took 3 hours most of which was spent staring at it but the kitchen sink is clean and sparkling! One job down, 2 two to go. Next stop wash dishes (as sink is now clean enough that I wont actually be putting the dirt back on them:o )

as someone who has family members with OCD I know exactly what a big achievement this has been - WELL DONE! :T :T

keep going in baby baby steps - we'll support you all the way,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Afternoon everyone,
Then its clean work surfaces in the kitchen so dont mind me if I have a small melt down shortly as this will involve moving things (its hard to actually move things to a different place even for a short while with OCD, everything must stay where its put) its all good :rotfl:

Can you just pick each individual item up, clean underneath it and then put it back in the same place? I know it will take longer but I'm just thinking you might find it easier while you're taking baby steps!

Lid has now come off reservoir so must have been pressurised.

  • Wow - I'd forgotton how fast this thread moves - everyone is soooo busy today - I can see the shine from here

Having another :coffee: break - absolutely shattered

Since last post I have made tea (first home-cooked meal in 6 weeks ), cleaned and tidied kitchen and sorted through 6 weeks of paperwork that had accumulated on the kitchen table.

You know guys, I don't know which is more exhausting - working full-time for 6 weeks or cleaning up the mess left after you have spent 6 weeks working full-time
