Can you just pick each individual item up, clean underneath it and then put it back in the same place? I know it will take longer but I'm just thinking you might find it easier while you're taking baby steps!
Doesn't everybody do that anyway???
I have 3 lengths of work surface I start at one side (next to the fridge) and work my way along wiping and replacing (in the same order/place every time) the toaster, the microwave, the SC, the egg chicken, the kettle... by which time I am bored and leave the third length lol.. that isn't OCD, that is going over the same area once instead of putting clean things on dirty surfaces or dirty things on clean surfaces.. It makes sense..doesn't it?.. Anything other than those things on the surface is put away or swept on to the floor to be dealt with next.
When I do the units I start the opposite end (nr the door) and work my way round to the fridge.. then work my way back along the kick boards.. every time.. I once tried doing it the other way round and almost had a breakdown..
Please don't tell me I have OCD and well as my other ASD's... I just need an MA and a PhD and I'll be sorted!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
