Morning everyone,
Had a lovely night out with DH last night, first time in ages we've managed a child free night as we both have wildly different schedules.
lol, just glanced over and my rabbit is stretched out on the floor like superman, she is very flat:rotfl:
Need to get dressed, write a meal plan and go shopping. Will be a little difficult as its lent starting this week and hubby and i are giving up dairy (again! some of the long term flyladies may recall i attempted this last year and caved after about 3 weeks:o, determined to do it this year).
Is anyone else giving up anything for lent? The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Morning all
Poor DS3 had a really bad dream last night and sat in my arms sobbing and shaking but I still have no idea what it was about.
MOF77 I'm gad your Mum had a nice time and it was lovely of you to offer cause I bet she wouldn't have asked.
Jjeff - IMO too early for those sort of seeds yet I'm afraid
One wash on the line although it has gone very dark outside. Off to finish the bathroom and then jump in the shower. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I've taken the dog out, then came back and cleaned the kitchen and living room windows. Vacuumed right through downstairs.
Then I teak-oiled the garden benches. Made the dog sneeze
Don't know what's happened upstairs but there's a lot of muttering.......0 -
Flitting in and out again...

jjeff - tomatoes need about eight weeks before planting out - not before the end of May in most of the country, so the /middle/end of March will be fine. I think cucumbers take about the same, but they do like it warm. If you have 'itchy fingers' ( a recognised condition amongst gardeners the minute the sun appears in early spring!!) then why not try some salad leaves in a pot? They're not so bothered about low temperatures, and you can pick little leaves in about three to five weeks. Most of the seed companies stocked in garden centres will have a selection. I bought some yesterday, along with spring onions and round carrots, which I sow in divided trays, and will plant outside in early April. The leaves don't even need a specially large pot - 5'' or 7'' will be fine, as they don't grow to full size.
Planning here I come...It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
