    swept kitchen floor.

Can anyone tell me how to safely/legally dispose of kitchen knives? I've got half a dozen with broken handles so they aren't safe to use that i cleared out of the cutlery drawer when that job was on the list but i just cleared them to the utility room and they've been there ever since.

  • Good morning everyone.

At last I am organised enough to post a list; so here goes:-

    Take DH to work
Vacuum the hall stairs & lounge
Wash hall window (somehow managed to miss that one when I did all the others)
    SS bathroom
    SS kitchen
    SS dining room
    SS Master bedroom
Collect DH and then on to friends for lunch - the last of his birthday celebrations I hope. No weight loss for me this week as this is the 4th unplanned and off-plan meal since Wednesday. Never mind, Monday starts a fresh week and a successful one I hope.

    Good Morning everyone:D
    DW unloaded
    WM on
    TD on
Also the builders kindly filled a yellow bucket with leftover cement, and put the whirly line holder into in......so DS1 is getting dressed, then going out and digging a hole in the garden, for the bucket to fit into and then i will be able to line dry my clothes....weather permitting!!!:)

Went to IKE@ yesterday and got DD her new bed, wardrobe(this was in the bargain section.....as it had no packaging, and was fully made up, I asked the nice man would it go into a scenic and he came out to the car and said yes it will!!!) and canopy for her new room.......the extension is coming along nicely....the roof is arriving this week:) the builders are pouring the floor and then putting the roof on!!:)

Lots of money saving this week:D
    :jIm going to be frugal:j
    :DIm going to be frugal:D

    In my HHC I:

    Cleared drainer
    Washed dishes
    Put washing on the line
    Reloaded WM

    Not a lot but it's a start

DH has now surfaced and is sorting out breakfast so there'll be more dishes soon - it's never-ending isn't it?

    in my hhc i did:

    made all beds
    cleared bedside tables
    opened all curtains/blinds
    measured backbedroom floor
    s/s utility room + toilet
    un/reloaded dw
cleared the table and polished it

sorry gtx but i have no idea what the 'save' way would be  - never had that dilemma before!

morning spirit, julie and jamie :hello:
  • gtx, if you take them to a recycling centre they should take them there for disposal safely.

Another bike lover here. We had a few before kids - big road bikes - did many tours on them. Would love to have another one one day **sigh** It's on my 20 year wish list LOL

Yep, the bike is still on my wish list too, least priority though :(

DS(3) is ill. He is running a high temperature and is whinging. Both boys are in front of TV to keep them happy. Was hoping to take them for a walk up the hills. Won't be happening now.
Instead, I'll be trying to cut the grass and sort out my [strike]messy corner[/strike] desk.

So, I will now finish breaky, then tidy the kitchen and have a go at the garden!

    Weekend list!!
For everyone to share!!! If you get all these done Auntie Toots may find a golden sparkly star for you!!
