Well, we've had our tea and I've washed up. Then we watched a programme on photography, followed by Mistresses from Tuesday night. Dishes now put away and cats fed so I'm just going to wash up their stuff and then run a bath and go to bed to read my book. Shifting furniture isn't the best thing for a dodgy back but there's noone else to help so we just have to get on with it :D Night all.

Toots : Whats this list thing? I'm guessing it was made one of the weeks I wasn't keeping up with the thread  How's it work?

I really need to do some NVQ work but I've just spent ages sitting here trying to work out my next OU course since I missed the sign up for the IT course I wanted to do and its not being presented again :o Looks like I'll be doing a business course next (which should in theory result in a Undergraduate Certificate in Business Studies apparently  ).

DD will be home at 5.18pm tomorrow according to ex :rotfl: Well thats what time the train is due in, so I need to meet them at the station which means I need to leave here at about 4.45 just in case a miracle happens and the train gets in early. Then ex can get his train back on time.

I'm going to go and curl up with CSI: NY then bed I think. I'm shattered again :o

Using my phone to pop in because then sites are limited and i won't get distracted for too long! I've read a full chapter and answered question 1 ( of 3 large questions) of my first tma in rough :). Can't get my bath yet as boys still awake, up and down like yoyos. I'd prefer to wait so not disturbed.
Going to have a bottle of water then do some more.

Soappie. I like trying to fix things myself as much as possible too. Ive plastered, took part of a stone fire place out and put skirting boards on.

Was it hard to plaster? I will replace the tiles in our bathroom and then need to plaster the hall. (Just wasn't sure how to)

    :D.

Another thing I don't do is car maintenance. Used to on my motorbike years ago but these modern engines have me baffled.
    .

I am qualified car mechanic (but haven't worked in the industrie the last ten years), but even I wouldn't touch the new engines. I sort out DH's car (W reg) sometimes with the help of our DS who is 3! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Great to have another motorbike enthusiast here. :D

Washing up all done from dinner. I have decided I'm now going to take a book I started reading about three weeks ago to bed with me and continue reading it there. I haven't read in bed for an awful long time.

It used to be one of my pleasures.

I think I'll reacquaint myself with it.

Have a good night one and all - sleep well

'Twas in my wild, irresponsible days ;)

ETA when a motorbike was a motorbike and not a full-of-gadgets and fairy starts and things that you get today....

I know! Ok, I had to give up my motorbike when I moved to the UK in 2001, as I couldn't afford the insurance. Now I cannot ride one, as neither of the boys would fit on one (they are 3 and 1). :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Off to go to bed too, with my OU books, Still have to catch up, as I am one book behind.....:o

W/e list will hopefully partially done tomorrow.... all depends on the weather. If it's nice, me and the boys will have breakfast on the hills. :p

Yep I'm in for definite. Should be fairly easy the next week as I have plenty of food in. I'm just trying to sort out a healthy Asda delivery on Mysupermarket to be delivered at some point...I'm going to put it off as long as I can. Its the usual case of budget vs healthier option though.
