Thanks for your support, I think I only mentioned it because DPs attitude was 'they were only neighbours' but I don't think he ever had neighbours like we did, we had some lovely ones in the small road where I lived when I was growing up. They all because honourary aunty/uncle of course, I knew if I ever needed anything they were there, they were more like family and there was a lot of trust between us aswell we always did their post when they were away and viceversa. When my Dad had his heart attack the whole street rallied round to help (I think I was 12 and my sister was 10) with looking after us, taking us/Mam to hospital etc. This is what I am trying to think now Dusty, he's at peace now, I remember times when he was very bad my Dad being called by his wife to go over to their house to see to him as she was at work. I know he put a lot of pressure on her. It was so strange seeing what was a big, strong, solid man (quite scary if you didn't know he was a big softy) go to what was a quivvering wreck a lot of days when I was a young teenager but it showed me how real mental illness could be and how evil young teenagers could be. Bless him one time he got into TV shopping, he was so paranoid a delivery would come when he was out he refused to go out, he had a ROOM full of DVD players.....QVC....ooops. Its been a bit strange as I don't think even I realised how big a part of my life he and his wife were.
Right, I need to get some studying done this evening. If there was one thing I could do for him is 'apply myself more' he used to always say when he got his teachers hat on  so will get the boys upstairs, have some reading time with them (I can scan read and listen to DSs read at the same time quite well now) then send them to their rooms with books so I can read mine. Will do 1.5 hours then bath then another 1.5 hours. One day I might be more organised...........

Don't think that would have made any difference!! I saw the word darleks, my mind went to Dr. Who (which I don't even watch!) and that was that!!!My dad's great in the garden, but it's really not my thing

We had one in December, I was considering one next week if it stays like it has been. To be honest temperature of 12 degrees, why not. Oh they did a BBQ at a friends wedding on Boxing Day too
Right, time to kick children upstairs after I put the dinner plates in the DW  why can't anyone else but me put them in there I don't know! Might be back on at small break time or bath time.
NO NO NO I just went to strike my list and remembered I've stripped my bed, need to do that firstbummer forgot
