  • Hi all, thanks for all your well-wishes for DH. He is pleased to be home and not opposite a very loud man who shouted all night!!!!!!!!

Lady-Liberty hope you are on the mend as well.

pigpen sounds fun!! i haven't forgotten the bedding for Jacob its all for a cot so once we are more sorted with DH will look it out.

Well i have done some of the extra washing, and S&S the kitchen twice!! but i think after 15 years of marriage, 17 years of having my own house I might just have learnt to tidy up in the kitchen as i go along :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

macaroni cheese ready for DH, little ones fed, have played vets for the afternoon - pigpen - can that count as my family time instead of film and DH was sleeping off his restful night in hospital ???!! :D

Oh and have also cleared bathroom floors so not bad at all all considered AND made flapjack. Its a new recipe i got from a friend a cranks one and its scrummy

right, am off to see where everyone is

Enjoy the rest of your saturday everyone whatever you are doing :D

  • pigpen - really really pleased things are working out more. Unfortunately Fc get paid a lot of money so can attract people who only do it for that reason - thank goodness she is somewhere better now

The new FC GF is with told the SW she is doing really well with the baby and that she has no worries about her at all.. :D:D:D:D so it was just the last one being a !!!!!!.. the SW by all accounts is an absolute barstool too (according to another SW who has worked with her!)

The new FC also has a daughter who knows DS1 and has done for quite some time and after speakign to DS today she said after what the SW had said she was expecting a total thick thug and was pleasantly suprised and said he can visit if he wants when the other foster children are at school.. they both have special needs so it is difficult when they are there to have extras. GF is really happy with them and looks much happier today.
That's great news pigpen. I must have missed that GF was being moved to a new FC.
Hope they don't have to use the other one for any other youngsters - she sounded a real disaster area.

This one has done it for 15 years the other had never done it before and off the record having met the first one the current FC's can't believe she was accepted!!

I don't think the money should be an issue.. I would do it because I wanted the children to live somewhere safe not for the money.. but them I'm not very much like everyone else on the planet!

  • pigpen Thank goodness this is a good FC but GF could have done without having a barstool SW as well - no luck there! hopefully with this Fc and you keeping her right she will cope ok and get her own place when one comes along. I am glad too that DS is allowed to visit - is he good with Jacob or not interested?
Dolly, Rose and BBQ trout - it don't get much better!
sounds like an excellent combination - enjoy honey!!

scaredy glad DH is home -there is nothing like your own bed after being in hospital!!! oooooooh flapjacks yummy!

funfairprincess all your hard work is about to be undone!!!:rotfl: but worth it - I hope you and Piper enjoy your babysitting - she looks gorgeous!
