Morning All.

Well haven't been doing much flying but have been keeping up with the dailies stuff etc.

Lil-me/Nicki etc can someone run this 'wasting' money by me again as it seems like a good idea. Although I may have to include my haircut I am having done on Tuesday but [STRIKE]know[/STRIKE]/think I need it. Mum is feeling sorry for me so is babysitting while I have it done :rotfl:

Well have managd to find a drip in [STRIKE]our[/STRIKE]my bathroom that I need to fix.Will need to contact H to see if he can get someone round.

Also looking at rejigging the kitchen a bit. i may put our freezer in the summerhouse and buy a small tabletop freezer as that will at least mean I can open my fridge door fully:eek: (to do this need to get old boiler removed-by the same guy that will do the leaky pipe). Although ddo need to work out how to take freezer down to summerhouse

Want to get some coat hooks (surprisingly for coats ) and may try and right a little list of things I could do etc.

Think I am going round mums for lunch as can't face sitting around here all day. I did ask DH if he wanted to see kids today but he said he was finding it hard. well I can only offer him the choice.

morning all, off to have a shower now but have been playing vets again with DD1 - we had a bad case of rabbit-itus and cat-itus!!! :rotfl:

So far i have cleaned bathroom except loo - will do that later
emptied DW
Made beds
looked after DH - feel need to add this as it is taking time

Knives if the recycling centre won't take them, ring the police station and ask if they have a knife anensty (sp) and take them to their special collection bins.

Morning all

Sunny again today but breezier, good for the load of washing I've pegged out.

So far I've just generally tidied up, washed up etc. I've also peeled potatoes and carrots for tea.

I'm going to take the dog out in a minute, just waiting for DD1 to ring back (she asked me to look up cinema times). DH has just gone upstairs to start painting so I don't want him to have to try to answer the phone if I'm out.

Then I'll put the vacuum round I think.

Oh I spent some time with my grandma last night.....mum is her full time carer and looked a bit tired, so I told her that i would sit with Gran so that she could go and see some new faces, I felt so bad cause my mums face just lit up and she said really!!! Well to cut a long story short mum had a ball, and so did I, gran woke up and at first didnt recognise me but after a while she did and was asking about the kids and DH:) She was delighted about DS2 passing his 11+ and offered me some money towards his new uniform.....lol, I told her not to worry about it and that his uniform was already paid for she then said he will need shoes....again I told her that it was all paid for and she called me an independant skitter!!! She used to call me this around 25 years ago when I was being uncooperative with her and my Granda!!!

gtx - I'd wrap the blades in a few layers of newspaper and put them in the household waste. I don't think anyone would go rummaging through landfill for them.
mumoffour77 - what a nice thing to have happened with your Gran - and your Mum being able to go out. Well done you.

Grey morning here this morning. Looks like we might get a touch of rain. Glad I most of my washing yesterday! I think there's one load left.

I've been a good girl and emptied the DW whilst my cup of tea was brewing and it's now on a cleaning wash.

This morning I'm going to finalise my accounts and get everything ready to take to the accountant then do my PAYE before the taxman gets really grumpy.

I'm off to visit a friend this afternoon for champagne and canapes (mental note: remember to pick up a bunch of flowers on the way). It's our 'christmas do'.

Apart from that, I shall just see where the day takes me.

Morning all,

Currently sitting enjoying the peace, OH &kids have gone out to visit inlaws. i am just having a cuppa while waiting on the WM to finish and then I will get it hung outside (for the first time this year we finally haave some sunny & windy weather) after that i will take the dog out and then its a mixture of study & ironing for me.

Kaz - noticed you were seed planting can I be nosey and ask what??? I have some tomato & cucumber seeds to plant just not sure if its the right time for them yet, was going to keep them in the conservatory and then transfer outside into a plastic greenhouse thingy which I have been given.

list wise need to go and find it from yesterday.
