boddy - well done for getting your meter readings in!
Flower - same goes for you... and now do you realise why I've been nagging you. You may well get a revised bill now, and your direct debit may be reduced too.
PLEASE PLEASE can you ALL try to read your meters and submit readings monthly? It will mean your bills are much more accurate and you can budget more easily. Underpaying is as bad (if not worse) than overpaying, as you then have a debt to deal with which will prevent you from being able to move to a new supplier (although why we want to keep customers who have debts is beyond me... I would have thought we'd want to cut our losses and get rid of them  ) until you have paid off the debt... and some debts are passed on to collection agencies too...
msgnomey - on this thread flying in pjs is practically compulsory  ... we're not like american flylady... there is NO WAY on this earth I'd put on lace up shoes if I wasn't going hiking, running or to the gym. Certainly not for flicking a feather duster round the living room
OK, point taken (finally she says...) but you're so right, and having got into debt because of wrong readings, you'd think I'd learn (although I did pay every penny back...
WHAT!!! are you telling me NONE of you put your shoes and makeup on to do the housework???? No wonder I can't keep up, I spend most of the day getting ready for the housework, not actually doing it!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (believe that you'll believe anything...)
Hugs Carol, hope the pain has died down tomorrow for you, but you should just pop into a drop-in centre or your docs tomorrow to get it checked over, then your mind will be at rest... :A
Am back from Karate and DS has now done the DW (what's that 3 hours?) how can a simple task take men so long??? It's like, there's something shiny, so they stare at it for a while, realise they should be doing something, keep staring at the shiny thing, then realise again that they should be doing something, then do the 'thing' for about 30 seconds, then the shiny thing drags them back again, etc, etc... and on it goes... ridiculous - no wonder they can only do one thing at a time and multitasking is a gift just for women... (ooooh, sorry, bit of a rant there, no offence meant OddJob, you really are the exception to the rule...)
Anyway, I am flying to finishing my accounts as we speak but my wrist is absolutly killing me, I think it might be arthritus, which I can't get in my right hand because I use it too much, so it would be extremely inconvenient... I must tell it to go away and wait until I'm 95 at the earliest...

OK Pigpen... where's Thursday's list
are you putting it off till you get back from the pub or wherever you've wandered off to so that mudbath, sexymouse & I can't get ahead of ourselves
I've just eaten a whole pint of icecream (it's OK, it was organic, so very good for me) and feel sick... and have realised that tomorrow is a suit-wearing day and I haven't done my homework for my supplier meeting
So... need to get tomorrow's lunch done, and prep for meetings...0 -

Hi Toochoosy, my six year old boy is the same -some of the things he comes out with!!! They hear things from their friends and tv! He has written his name on his headboard!! He is a very affectionate little boy until you ask him to do something that he doesn't want then he can scream at the top of his lungs and all sorts of other things. Earlier I told him he wouldn't come to his nannys with me unless he behaved, so he said it doesn't matter I'll walk. And proceeded to start walking!
All I can say is good luck and you aren't alone!!0 -
