  • Hello there can I join in again please? Have decided that as I have aspirations of being Anthea Turner (not as in married to a millionaire, although.....) but as I actually live more like Onslow (hyacinth bouquets bil), I need to get my act together. I talk a good story and everyone thinks my skirting boards will sparkle, but alas, no, I haven't seen them for sometime. Today, nearly had a panic attack as met my friend and her children for coffee and a play and our plan nearly had to change, and I was sooooooo worried that she suggested coming back to mine - I knew how I'd left it. Fortunately our day went ahead as originally planned but it has made me see the error of my ways and I now want to take control once and for all. Can't promise I'll keep up with everything, this thread is HUGE, but will be here in spirit. Will start now by printing off the list and putting it on the fridge door for tomorrow.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

  • I completely agree about talking to the children about their dad He is, after all, still their father. I believe/hope that this may actually allow him to spend more quality time with them.

I hope that I am right as they are gorgeous. But I would say that. I am their mum.

You are totally right, they are both gorgeous (although I've only really met your DD properly, but she is a wonderful child with an absolutly beautiful smile...) and that's not from their mum... :D I've sent you a PM - call me anytime... x

Mumofj2 and everyone else who needs a hug - you're getting a big one from these 'ere parts....

Just watched a documentary - "Amish - Trouble in Paradise" or something like that. I found it really rather moving. I wish I had that strength of belief.

But I have done dinner (lamb chops) and cleaned up afterwards and put the DW on.

Am now going to boil - oooh no - that should be steam - my head to try and sort these sinuses out...

    Night night all
