  • I know there are a few others on AOL.
Have any of you set up your email on Outlook?
I do have the instructions printed out, but being a feartie I want to be sure it is straightforward.

erm yes to AOL and no to outlook but would be interested to know how!

    Morning all

Got up too late to catch my usual train (had to wash my hair and can't go without porridge!) so just caught up since last night.

crafty - i use the outlook calendar at work, can be really helpful i think. i have all the family birthdays in my home one with reminders but hasn't worked so well as I don't have it open very often! Not on AOL though, sorry.

greenbee - you're putting me to shame this week.

I'm out again tonight though only to mudbath's favourite place for a late night coffee with my friend so I might have time to fly first.

I still need to wash my front door from yesterday! Hard task master illustrious leader!:D

Also I want to declutter a drawer in my kitchen. You know the 'everything' drawer!

I've got DH family coming round this afternoon, but my house is fairly presentable, just need to do a quick swish and swipe in the kitchen, and sweep up. I've decided that I'm going to sweep rug's down stairs with a brush, rather than hoover everyday- save on electricity and give me some exercise to get rid of bingo wings!!:o

    Morning lovelies!

No chance of doing the list today as I'm out from 9.20 to at least 5.30 and I'll be wrecked by then, I'm thinking of moving my late job to another day if I can fit her in somewhere  I can't manage 3 jobs in one day (well I can but they knacker me) it's just too much and I'm starting to dread them, plus I like to be home for littley coming in from school.

Aaaaaaanyway, just dailies for today, which is fine cause they're what keeps the house ticking over :T

    hoover through
    load DW
    S&S kitchen
    make beds
    dry some washing
    sort tea
    have a 'potter' tidy-up
    sort tea

IF and that's a big If..... I somehow have some energy I will then do the bathroom.

    Morning all,

Sorry for off topic: Had another "chat" with OH last night - more tears and we actually discussed breaking up and me moving out, but he said he didn't want that to happen, and that he would try harder from now on. I used a few of the lines people have used on here (eg him not respecting the work I do at home as he deliberately tries to mess it up again) and he seemed to listen. Ironically I pointed out that if I were single again the place would be a lot tidier too, but then I also pointed out that I'd have lost my only friend (as in friend in person rather than virtual) too when he asked what the downside was. Hopefully things will get better. I asked him if I could write him a list of things I wanted done, in the order I want them done in (in the style of Pigpen) and he said he'd try to do it. These will be things to help declutter the house as I'm fed up with his hording rubbish and it creeping into the living areas. Went downstairs this morning, and he's done some of the washing up before he's gone to work, so it looks promising! Big hugs for Mojt - I think you're being really brave!

I guessed it would be the bathroom today, but didn't make a headstart last night as the gym class yesterday has caused me to have very painful legs and bum, so moving about was kept to a minimum - it's worse today, but I'm determined to get on with things today.

Here's my list below. Does anyone want to do a HHC with me 9.20-9.50?

    Thursday - Bathroom & Study
    Level One

    Declutter floors
    Wash bathmats & shower curtains.
    Level Two
Scrub tiles and baths and showers and sinks and loos
    Wash the windows

    Level Three

    1. Sort out your coat pockets and handbag
    2. Scrub the radiators
    3. Wash the paintwork
    4. Deweb and dust and demould these rooms!
    5. Write list for OH to help declutter this house
    6. Freecycle fax machine
    7. Go through bag of cosmetics OH horded (from ex-wife's old business) and freecycle some of them
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
