I got a lovely card, cadburys cream egg and a mini blue nose bear which is holding a love heart saying I love you...... Maybe I may get a surprise at work tomorrow. Flowers or chocloates perhaps lol wishful thinking.
I bought the other half a lovely card (card warehouse), A I love you toast stamper (£1 out of poundland), a management ideas book (to complete OH collections from The Works) and finally a homemade vouchers for cleaning his car, making him tea, letting him have a nightout with the boys and a romantic night in. Went down well.0 -

thats something my dad would do,,,:rotfl::rotfl:
We had a quiet one, first with a baby, we got a babysitter and had the M&S meal deal for twenty pound. We swapped cards and I had bought some new underwear, (a drunken good idea at an Anne Summers party a week before). Hubby didn't get me a pressie. He doesn't do presents.:mad::mad:
It is all a bit of waste of money. Heating oil would be a better investment.0 -

I'm not a big fan of Valentines and I'm away at the minute so it's even easier to forget it, but I sent him a postcard, which arrived the day before :-)
He's coming out to see me soon, so that's like an early birthday/Christmas present rolled into one. He's not the biggest fan of public transport so when he arrives, we will walk along the beach to my flat and as that's so small I think we may just have to go out for a meal.
Next year, I think I need to remind myself that I'm a non-believer !0 -
I did quite well i got an I-Trim and a leather jacket !
and gave her some cashmere bed socks and a funky dressing gown!
BUT did any of you catch the story in the news of the guy in minesota who gave his missus of 37 years a pile of manure!!!!
The manure was spread over several days, in an outline of a heart, over half a mile. It even had a manure arrow piercing the heart.
And the best part is she liked it!
im gettin my laxatives stockpiled and starting to get ready for next year i think im on to a winner!!0
