Had a bad day!

Tried to buy the £10 hand cream, which we can get using the NO7 voucher + the perkie, but SA said no! then when I said it worked yesterday when I bought them ( I did not lie + say a friend did + it worked ) in a different shop, the SA took my name off acm card + rang the shop I went to yesterday, she spoke to NO7 SA who said it won't work, so then she told me my ACM card will get looked into, ( yes.. she was not a nice SA ) so I left the shop obviously very upset with what had happened + as there was only one till on, the queue was big, so I was even more humiliated by her + not to mention the bit about my card being looked into, i mean was I stealing? NO! I was using the vouchers that MR.B supplied to me with my name on + basically getting told my card was going to be investigated made it worse, even though it is squeaky clean + I have used no-one elses vouchers or done anything wrong.

I have came home + rang CS who then put me through to a manager, so as the computers are down will be ringing me back, when she sorts this out, cos even the manager said she was appalled by hearing about my bad day + that getting my acm card investigated was a bit too extreme, considering the NO7 lady + the till let me get them yesterday, it's not as if the till beeped cos it won't as the 2 vouchers are proper ones to work with that item.

Angel50 that is terible and totally out of order! I hope CS do something mega to make that up to you, no one deserves to be treated like that, especially as you are totally innocent.


My god some SAs need some retraining and a kick up the...

how awful angel50 this is what my store is like, they take it so personal that we are getting bargains. It isn't even a glitch. Like you said just using the vouchers that mr b gave you. hope you get some comp for it all.

just back from my first Beat the Sistem trip to Boots. :j
Had to buy some Boots Teatree+Witch Hazel products 2 for £5 first to get ONLY perkie but no hair/beauty (maybe its because its last day today? )
printed LOADS (i think 8) of £5 for P+P from ACM
Find the P+P hand cream and bought it fo FREE with perkie and ACM voucher. sa wasnt going to let me do it first and call the manager and together they decided i can do it once as exception

oh, and dont you get the perkie if you get the cream for free? Even if its real price £10?

First time i have ventured back here after the S&G incident, i really dislike the SA's in this store!
Did see a lady with 3-4 p&p handcreams and 342 toothpaste in her basket, a Bootser from here perhaps?
Also wombled 3xGilette, 1x body beautiful and 2xUG acm vouchers.

Went to SS tills, i don't know what i managed to do but it was calling for assistance, SA took me to normal tills!
Said i couldn't use p&p voucher with perkie on handcream, showed her my 2 previous recipts, but still refused to put it through! Was going to call her manager, who i had a run in with last time i was in this store, so told her just to leave it! tried to give me with just the perkie instead but i said i wasn't paying for it, when i'd already got 3 of them for free!
So she just put through the rest of my things...

Then realised i had left my AC in the SS tills, when the SA was hustling me over to the normal tills, and it had £73.xx of pts on it! Luckily another SA and locked it inside the SS till, and i got it back! (honestly i hate this store!)

So after all that fuss, when i was heading back up the escalators i saw the same dragon SA walking around with my vouchers i'd just used in the previous 2 transactions in her hand?!

So overall, walked away with £74.45 worth of goodies for just £21.76, 464pts, a perkie and only 2 wrinklies left, which are going in the bin!
And if you got through all of this, congrats! :T

ANGEL50 that's horrible! I had a run in with an SA yesterday (although nothing to do with glitches, it was a refund) and I know how embarrassing it can be when other customers are staring. Did you purchase the handcream at a manned till? If so, they can't blame you, it's the SA's responsibility for using the vouchers.

No, you have to hand over £5 in real cash to gain the vouchers (but manufacturer moc's count towards cash spend too).
