Successfully getting some of the better glitches often depends on if the SA you pick is willing to try. Its sometimes sensible to buy some other things to 'disguise' your bargain. If the SA won't put it through, please don't make a fuss - they are only doing their job. Just try again another SA / store / day. It is a good idea to try and make a friend in a SA if possible.

3) PARENTING CLUB
You can join the parenting club online (Parenting Club) or in-store. You must be pregnant or have a child under the age of 2. You can only register each child to one card.


4) HEALTH CLUB
Once you have had the offer activated on your Advantage Card as a Health Club member, every time you shop in store you will benefit from the broad range of over 50 selected health products ½ price automatically. If you are over 60 you will also get 10% off Boos products (Proof of age may required for this.)

A tip if you've .com points to collect. If they don't show up on one ACM then try another. A few people have had this problem(myself included) and found that trying a different acm they appear.

Is it accepted under Boots' policy to use more than one voucher per transaction?
Yes! The official word from customer services is "I can confirm that you are able to use more than one voucher at a time per transaction. Our tills are programmed to ensure you receive the best offer available. There is a limit to how many vouchers you can use, but this depends upon the offers you have received and the voucher."

Can i return something without a receipt?
Yes you can but you will only get the current instore price on a GC or an exchange.

Can i use points to pay for an item and still get the GWP?
Yes you can.

If i use a extra points voucher and a double points voucher will i get double extra points?
No you will not. A double points voucher only doubles normal points not offer points.

Can i pay part points part cash?
No you can only pay with points when you have enough for the whole transaction.

Can i combine paying with vouchers/cash/GC?
Yes you can.

Can i return something bought on .com to my local store?
Yes you can.

Do i earn points when buying a gc?
No.

Do i earn points when paying with GC/Voucher?

Yes you will still be entitled to a voucher.

How many free magzines can i get with my advantage card?
You can get as many as you want but only 1 per transaction.

How often do the AMC offers change over?
They change over every 4 weeks.

Boots have reduced there Christmas wrapping paper to 10p. They had both rolls and packs of paper (4 metres) in a variety of different designs. I picked up a few (that should keep me going for a while!!)

I am not a regular Bootser like a lot of you guys here but have been dipping my toes in since I found myself with a couple of the blinkies to spend last month!

I noticed that my nearest large Boots - in Kingston upon Thames - has just had SS tills installed!

Also, I printed some S&G £2 off vouchers last week, I thought I'd give it a go with some mini hand foods but the till said to ask for assistance! A lovely SA came over to help me and said would be because it was 3 for 2, I said I was happy to buy them individually as it was better to get the £2 off than the free one so she said she would check. After a bit of a conflab with another SA (presume supervisor?) they overrode them and I handed over my 3 coupons. When I came to pay though SA noticed that had got the 3 for 2 anyway so only had 40p to pay! I wasn't going to ask for my coupon back anyhow so paid and chuntered off! Am tempted to try again in later in week!

Haven't seen anything else apart from Olay purple box GWP that scans as 0.00 - which I got out of curiosity more than anything! Went through on SS till along with some replacment Sonicare toothbrush heads which I needed anyway. Didn't take any more as of no use to me and don't need to give it for gift or anything - were a few more there if anyone needs them.

The reduced shelf by the sandwich area has some no 7 stuff but seems to be tanning or suncare type stuff which I don't use. Also some Toni & Guy Mens stuff I think but can't remember what exactly! sorry!

Had success today getting 2 x loreal mens anti fatrigue kits :T:T:T. Really pleased, they must have just had a delivery cos there have not been any there for the last couple of weeks.
Also in different store had to take back a Dr Nick Lowe spot gel back as tube had a hole in. SA really lovely and gave me a refund (£8**, which was very good as I had got it free with a wrinklie!), then bought 3 reduced S&G handwashes on 243, which meant I still got £4** change!
V pleased as already had 1 spot gel, so managed to exchange it for 3 handwashes and get £4** cash back (enough for me and 2 youngest to go and have a drink!)
