Hi everyone :hello:
I have been a bit up and down lately with my BPD, but as yesterday was an 'up' day, DH thought it would be a lovely Valentines' treat to go for a spot of retail therapy. We had a lovely day, going round all my favourite shops, and then he suggested a trip into Boots, as I hadn't been in a few weeks- and I was to 'do my Bootsing thing' :rotfl:
Here goes......
Shop 1: Eastgate, Upstairs
Olay Definity Pore Scrub, £7.82- £2.82 with wrinklie.
Boots Essentials Kids Cherry Shampoo x 2- 25p each.
Olay GWP- free
Total To Pay: £3.32 + gained wrinklie + 12 points.
I then thought I would try my luck and go downstairs, as the S&G is there.......
Shop 2: Eastgate, Downstairs
S&G Wash Your Hands x 3@ £2.20 (3 for 2) £4.40
S&G Mini Righteous Butter £2.20
S&G Mini Hand Food £2.20
S&G Mini Flake Away 0.00 (3 for 2)
Mini Eggs bag 100g £1.07
Naked Sugar Maple Face Mask Sachets x 6 @ 20p- £1.20 to pay.
SA deducted 3 vouchers for minis, even though they were 3 for 2, but not for the reduced handwashes, so technically I only had to pay full price for one of the hand washes as third one was free anyway IYKWIM, lol
So total to pay was £5.07 + gained a wrinklie and 44 points.
Shop 3: Eastgate downstairs
S&G Mini Clean On Me £2.20
S&G Mini Clean On Me £2.20
S&G Mini Hand Food 0.00p (3 for 2)
Knitted Ribbed Cream Rose Dress £7.00 (reduced from £14.00)
Summer PJs for baby £3.00 (reduced from £9.00)
S&G Mini Flake Away £2.20
S&G Mini Flake Away £2.20
S&G Righteous Butter 0.00 (3 for 2)
Organix Curly Puffs 46p
SA deducted 4 vouchers for minis.
Total to pay £11.26 + gained wrinklie + 76 points.
Shop 4: Eastfield Retail Park
No7 P&P Body Serum £12.25 (reduced from £24.50)
No7 GWP 0.00p
Olay Regenerist Cleanser £6.99- £1.99 using wrinklie
Boots Brcn Crrg750ml (not sure what this is, will check after, lol) 83p
Used £5 off No7 P&P
Total to Pay £10.07 + gained wrinklie + 40 points.
Shop 4: Eastfield Retail Park
Nick Lowe Blemish Gel £8.76 £3.76 using wrinklie
S&G Mini Clean On Me £2.20
Boots Essentials Kids (something) 97p
Boots Essensials Kids 2in1 Pear 97p
SA deducted 1 voucher
Total to pay: £5.90 + earned wrinklie + 28 points
Shop 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
S&G Mini xxx £2.20
1 voucher deducted each time, 20p to pay + 8 points for each one.
SA at Eastfield could not do 3 for 2, and I told her this wasn't a problem as I was happy to do the transactions individually.
Overall, I was a bit greedy with S&G, but I am planning giving some of them to my friend in a mini hamper to say sorry for being such a pants friend while I have had my low days with BPD. I'm also going to give some to my mum to try. DH also wants to try  Should I be worried? :rotfl:
I am going to take a look through all of my numerous vouchers from mailings, ACM, Love Notes etc, and post them up later for re-homing
Sorry for such a long post, but just wanted to share my day with you all. I don't get out much at the moso it is lovely to be able to read everyone else's stories to try to keep me in 'the real world' at the moment.
Thank you all for your tips, stories and entertainment- it really keeps me going just now xXxXxXxXx0 -

In Boots again today as needed to go and spend my wrinklies as they do indeed breed as someone else had mentioned on here.
I bought:
T and G Model me Jameila affinity serum, 1.71 (free with wrinkly) :T
Tried using 150 acm point voucher before i handed over wrinkly but wouldnt work and SA said it was only for the main T and G products not MM. Have some bootsers managed to get this to work with the MM and 150 pts?
ROC foaming cleanser (6.84) used £5 wrinkly, so 1.84 to pay.
Plus a free gift bag with a few ROC samples in it.
3 x S and G mini hand food (342) and used 2x £2 off vouchers so 40p to pay. (SA got manager and had to override til. He remembered me from a previous transaction so asked where i was getting the vouchers from and wondered how Boots could limit their use as it was a print out what was there to stop other people just printing off loads! i said there were only 6 vouchers-used 4 before and 2 today- that was all mine used up so he seemed happy enough).
1 x boots bath spa, clearance at 25p.
Total paid = 2.49 :j
Also no putting sets that i could see.
The S and G handwash was still full price SEL in the store today. Guess it just depends which stores offer the reduced price?
I picked up a few Love notes booklets, what are the girard products that are reduced? are they SEL or in clearance.

Hi I am really new here - have been lurking for a couple of weeks fascinated by all your shopping trips. Tried a couple myself this week and have managed to bag 3 bottles of HE for extra points and also started using the ACM and got extra points for my T & G haircare and TS haircare in addition to using my wrinklie! My points total was pretty poor last week but thanks to all your handy hints and tips it has jumped up to £22 from a measly £12 before!! :j I just wanted to say thank you to everyone and hello!! :hello:
I think I may be addicted now and am trying to rope my OH into it now too by suggesting he visit Boots even when I am not with him. Was wondering if someone could show me a pic of the L'Oreal man set thing which is going through at £3.xx just now and you guys have been getting 2 for £5.50 with the BOGOHP. I wanted to print the pic and send him on a hunt for it! Thank you again - sorry for waffling!0 -

Just a mini Bootsing expedition today - went to Redhill Boots
Frizz-Ease serum - 5ml - £1.95 so free with wrinklie
Mini-Mode Pink Baby booties - 1/2 price so £2 (for nappycake)
Mini-Mode Unisex baby hat - 1/2 price so £2 (for nappycake)
Gillette shaving foam - £1.46 - 150 points voucher
total spend: £5.46 so received skin/hair wrinklies AGAIN!
went straight back & used hair wrinkle for another Frizz-ease serum so free again
Then tried to use S&G vouchers again as had been able to do it at this store before to buy 3 of the minis - did it but it was a bit of a pallava(sp!!) so don't think I'll bother again unless I pop to Epsom where I know they have the facial skincare - prob give that a go though.
Phoned Customer Services this morning to find out why I wasn't receiving the £5 P&P vouchers like other people and it seems they have different details of my advantage card!! Very odd but they're saying that my card (the one I've been using) was replaced back in 2000!!! So my spending habits have not been registered on their system!!! Weird! Anyway, they are going to send me a new card and because the card they had registered had about 1400 points and my latest receipt (as of yesterday) was showing 1600 points he said he'd add 250 to cover the difference. And then when I mentioned again about not receiving any of the £5 P&P vouchers he said he'd put another 500 on as well for the inconvenience! So yesterday my receipt showed 1600 points and when I put my card in the ACM this afternoon it showed 2350!! Glad I phoned now!!
Sorry if I shouldn't have posted here!! Just tell me if I've done wrong and I'll skiddadle me backside over the refugees wotsit thread!
Also mean't to say I've got the following vouchers up for grabs if anyone wants them (doubtful I'll use them)
150 points wyb T&G haircare x2
150 points wyb UG professional haircare x2
150 points wyb Trevor Sorbie haircare x2
50 points wyb Boots hosiery or socks (exp 17.02.09)
50 points wyb boots pure moisture washing & bathing x3
100 points wyb No7 Body Beautiful range x3
50 points wyb boots therapy shower or bath range x1
200 points wyb No7 Extreme Length mascara x1
HTH
Memory like a sieve!! Also mean't to say that there was a Loreal GWP in the Redhill branch today which looked pretty good actually - said it was worth £30. It was on a stand on its own (quite a few of them!) but didn't say what you had to buy so I asked SA and he said you got it free if you spent £15 on Max Factor. Was tempted but trying to be good and not just spending for the sake of it and really didn't need anything from Max Factor. But worth a look if you're thinking of spending on Max Factor anyways...0
