Great to hear about all the clever bootsing going on using up the wrinklies - well done everyone.
Not had such good luck with them here,No HE, P & P full price as is the serum, very little on the clearance and SELs all with full-price stuff. So I was mooching a bit thinking I must be able to find a bargain so round the counters again I went..
There was an unused No7 till on its own and a lovely little pink satin covered box on it.Being nosey ,I had a little look and it was full of very nice No 7 bits and pieces.I imagine it was an old GWP but I didn't recognise it as it must have been out BB ( before I began Bootsing). It had a pink scroll on the top and a little drawer as well as a flip top opening .There was no price and no label of any description but nothing had been used.
I got a young Saturday SA ( told me she wasn't allowed on the tills yet so I think she was glad of something to do) to find the price so off she went in search of the No 7 rep.She was gone ages but came back saying she couln't find the rep but a SA on pharmacy told her to do it for £1.00. I grabbed it there and then and exited sharpish before the No 7 rep came back and told us both off! :j :j :j
Do any of you experienced bootsters remember it ?
BTW there was a points voucher for 250 inside but it was out of date - the kind SA swapped it for a valid one from her friend on the pharmacy and put the expired one in the bin!!travelover0 -

They were from about 12 months ago IIRC - around the time I first starting "Bootsing"Well worth £1.00, especially with the SA giving you a new points voucher in place of the expired one

I have been buying the No7, 4 in 1 wipes with the £5 off vouchers....
The SA said, 'oh, you must like using these (as I had bought 3 packs, with vouchers).
I replied that I was getting them for my OH to use....to clean his hands at work....
The SA looked shocked, then said it was a very expensive luxury for him to 'waste', them on his hands......
Not at £1.40 after perkie its not
I'm using mine up as Leather Wipes on my sofa...work a treat!0 -
I love the No 7 wipes, the time delay and olay (even the sensitive) ones sting my eyes.'They only had one cow!'0

Got a top up voucher for my phone and used a wrinklie on some Olay stuff for 86p to receive the new purplie(is this what they are called) and did not get it was told did not qualify for this I thought you had to spend £5.00 to receive this am I wrong in thinking this.
Got my free P & P handcream. Got Sanctuary travel sets price checked still £6.00.
Hi Sarahdol,
Have a look at your receipt if it says
"earn uk prof hair" you should have got a wrinklie
also if it says "save 5 earn uk" you should have got a Purkie
Please can anyone correct me if i'm wrong.

Thanks for this aMeLia'S~MuMMY
After posting I started to feel a tad sick so decided not to go, just as well as I've picked up a bug i think! So Im sort of glad there is nothing to shout about in local stores.
The L'Oreal GWP I meant is a black box with gold swirls all over it, is this a very old one then? It has a CD in, mascara, lip gloss stuff, liquid eyeliner, L'Oreal mens skin stuff, and 2 Derma Genesis samples, the day and night time one. Also two vouchers, 200 points off L'Oreal Excellence 10 hair colour and 200 points off L'Oreal Collagen mascara.
Am sure I've read this description in the past so think it must be an old GWP, anyway.
Yesterday Chester had at least half a dozen of the above GWP's up on top of displays, un-manned, lol!
Also No 17 silver purse GWP thingies for £1 at the back of store, but I didnt want one, lol. Otherwise the clearance is poor compared to some reports on here, and our Model Me is priced up as clearance items at over £5!!Was it even that much to begin with??!! Funny how it's all still sat there Mr Chester Manager! :rotfl:
There is an end shelf full of Gillette Putting gift sets, don't think anyone round here is interested, lol. No reduced Gillette or S&G.
Come on Mr Boots, you know we love you but we need some reductions and glitches or we'll all get bored and sod off......well I will.Sorry to hear you are feeling unwell...
I misread your post:o I was thinking of the mens L'oreal bags, however it didn't make much difference as none of the stores had those GWP's anyway, the GWp you described was around just before christmas I think.
Thanks for letting me know what is about in Chester:D
Do you know if the 17 silver bags are the ones with mascara and eyeshadow in?
Hope you feel better soon x
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Hutchins0 -

Hi Sarahdol & All
After posting above i have just looked at my receipts from the other day spent over £5 on two seperate transactions at the pharmacy counter (non medicine goods) and no mention on either reciept that I should have earnt either voucher. Thought I was missing some:mad:
Two mins later did another couple of transactions at main tills (different products though) but still spent over £5 and gained both wriklie & purkie.
Anyone know If there are exclusions i.e if goods have been reduced mulitibuys, certain products etc etc. where you dont earn the current voucher
Also what can we both do about it.
Hope some of you long time posters will be able to shed some light on this and sarahdols problem
TIA

Sort of same thing happened to me today, did 2 transactions over £5 and each time got a purkie and a wrinklie and a photo voucher.
did a 3rd at different till (no7) and only got a purkie!
Maybe some SA forget or they only have certain vouchers in their till? each time receipt only stated voucheres i had received.
If I wanted prob could of gone to another till and ask SA to give me a wrinklie, but wasnt that fussed!
Oooh also, is there any online codes going around at the mo and where can i find them??0
