I remember reading the post about S&G being 1/3 off....but I cant find it a again!!!

HE still full price, no putting sets, no L'Oreal mens sets, no reduced S&G/ No7/ Natural Collection.
All the washing liquids/ powders were still full price.
P&P is in a variey of packaging- some tubes and some glass bottles, but both scan at £18.50.
No reduced hair care.
No reduced skin care plus sold out of the Olay wash at £5.86 which had been the cheapest thing to use wrinklie on!

Yep me too - but they did have the frizz ease serum for 1.95 if you have a rogue hairy to use up
And if you are after the 3packs of creme eggs, they are hidden at the front under the tills rather than with the food.
They are giving away a wrinkly and purple voucher at the moment too (although I had to ask for them as she scanned them then didn't give them to me) :rolleyes:

There was a small sign behind the No7 tills at the front of the store at 11 this morning. The SAs knew they had to be overridden, but were going to ring someone later to let them know of the 'error', as it kept happening.

I can't remember if there were any more signs where the P&P stuff was near the other body stuff in the centre of the store, sorry. I bought both in separate transactions at the No7 till if that helps.

Reduced Colgate & Maclean toothpaste on SEL, I bought Colgate Max Fresh Cool for £1.22 each and on 3 for 2. The cheapest items to buy with wrinklies have sold out, eg the Olay cleanser, Time Delay tan and Dr Nick spot gel. However, there is a stand in the premium beauty aisle with boxes of La Roche-Posay samples. The boxes included a dry skin cream, toner and cleanser. Still Olay GWP and lots of JF hairsprays and serum.

My favourite shop from today was the following:

Time Delay lip plumper - £7.82
No7 P&P hand cream - £10
JF Hairspray - £2.44

Used £5 skincare, £2 haircare, £1 off JF, £5 No7 and £5 No7 ACM.
Total to pay: £2.26 :T

Couldn't believe my ears in boots just now.
Lady in front of me had a time delay cream,sa asked if she had a voucher. No says she. Oh says the sa I have a spare one here and proceeded to scan it and lay it down again!lady got £5 off her facecream. Must be a first. Not sa I have ever seen before in my local.

they must have taken them down because I proper scanned and checked all the no7 tills for a sign. This was at one. hmm.. ah well.

can anyone please tell me what I did wrong today?

I went to the till with a P&P hand cream and a P&P lip care and a GWP.

tried to give a £5 P&P acm and a perkie and she refused to take them??? had to pay for them seperately in order to use both vouchers and lost the GWP? ended up costing me £8.60 is that right??

Natural collection cupcakes are £1.22 in Croydon.

I tried 2 purchases using the haircare wrinklies on T&G and TS minis but the till was not allowing either.

Can anyone tell me where I went wrong?

A few sanctuary minis at £1.12, reduced mediterranean body butters and some NO7 eye cream, eye / bronzer palettes etc reduced by around 1/3.

After posting I started to feel a tad sick so decided not to go, just as well as I've picked up a bug i think! :rolleyes: So Im sort of glad there is nothing to shout about in local stores.

The L'Oreal GWP I meant is a black box with gold swirls all over it, is this a very old one then? It has a CD in, mascara, lip gloss stuff, liquid eyeliner, L'Oreal mens skin stuff, and 2 Derma Genesis samples, the day and night time one. Also two vouchers, 200 points off L'Oreal Excellence 10 hair colour and 200 points off L'Oreal Collagen mascara.
Am sure I've read this description in the past so think it must be an old GWP, anyway.
Yesterday Chester had at least half a dozen of the above GWP's up on top of displays, un-manned, lol!
Also No 17 silver purse GWP thingies for £1 at the back of store, but I didnt want one, lol. Otherwise the clearance is poor compared to some reports on here, and our Model Me is priced up as clearance items at over £5!!Was it even that much to begin with??!! Funny how it's all still sat there Mr Chester Manager! :rotfl:
There is an end shelf full of Gillette Putting gift sets, don't think anyone round here is interested, lol. No reduced Gillette or S&G.

Come on Mr Boots, you know we love you but we need some reductions and glitches or we'll all get bored and sod off......well I will.
