Had brilliant shops at Slough and Reading yesterday. I couldn't find any reduced sels in Reading! But Ts red root touch up for £1 on clearance, wished id bought them with my haircare vouchers now, Sally06's post made me remember i could've used my 150 points acm vouchers on them. :doh: Never mind. Also some nivea dnage stuff for £7.50 so £2.50 after wrinklie. Slough had natural collection cupcakes at 61p but i had the last 2, sorry. Also had the bath pillows. Got one for ds for the car. Best of all for you s&g lovers, they had the handwash for £2.20! The shelf was full, I don't think anyone has noticed because the sel is hidden behind a 3 for 2 sign.
I could have got more points and freebies but i wanted to do ss transactions with minimum fuss and wanted only things i could use so no free p&p handcream/lipcare as i just wouldn't use it. (even though i have loads of p&p vouchers so all coming your way today squidgum!) I would send to other people but i don't have any more stamps. All my ss transactions went fine except when my ds started messing around with the stuff in the bag at the end. :rolleyes: And the 250 points r&m beeped and said not to be used in this store or at this time?? I expected it to ask for assistance as id already scanned a voucher (this is at reading) but not sure why it said that. Anyway nice sa went to the main till to get the points added for me. My second one wouldn't work either but nice sa had disappeared. Anyway I got:

Total: £3.85 plus 24 points and purplie

Phew! I was knackered when I got home. :rotfl: Got £24.36 in points for a £32.62 spend. not bad. Got 2 purplies to use still too.

Off I skipped with my stash and was on way to the bus when I remembered the only think I actually did need in Boots this morning - painkillers. Quick detour to the tiny Boots by Primark and there they were........... 2 x P&P Body Serum for £12.50 each. Oh be still my beating heart :happyhear I only bought 1 (after quickly getting the painkillers to earn another Perkie!) but there was a slightly tense moment when I gave the SA both vouchers (perkie and £5.00 off P&P from the ACM) and she said "oh I don't think you can use both" and I sweetly pleaded "my friend <cough> got some last week and they both worked, would you try please" and she did and of course, it worked - £2.25 to pay.

Like I said, I did only get 1 so there was 1 left at about 11.00am this morning

Have just totalled up my stash (please tell me I'm not the only saddo that does this?!) and I've:
Spent - £28.28
Saved - £92.07
Points earned - 1212

can you use the hairys on james brown mini's? i went up to a sa on tills and she said it wouldnt work

I didn't know if they would work, thought it was worth a bash and they did The SA scanned both barcodes (the normal one and then the clearance one) and no beeps from the voucher

i only have 1 hairy left so i will try it on that or the heat protection spray.
i used 21 hairy on serum so i have 21 serums
and i have 2 jf hairsprays

enough serum to last me a lifetime

Will Boots let me return Trevor sorbie freshen and shine spray just because I don't like the smell? I've just started using the hairspray I got a while ago nad it stinks of alcohol? Had a sniff of the f&s spray and it smells the same. I can't go around smelling like an alcopop obviously lol. If it'd just be a pain in the bum returning them I'll just put them in gift baskets.

You could always try, and if it doesn't work, leave it. I don't know if the Refine & Rewind is different here than what they sell in the States, but I thought the R&R sold at Target in the States was the same thing as the P&P sold here. And if that's the case and she's using the R&R you can get in the States, you could just stock up on some P&P for her here, getting another gwp and Perkie each time to use on the next one with an ACM voucher, so you could hand her a stash of them plus gwps and let her repay you the 6 quid each (or 8.50 in actual cash if not doing boots math with the points, lol).

I've just got back from Cornmarket St Boots- anything in particular you're looking out for?

Off the top of my head....
HE still full price, no putting sets, no L'Oreal mens sets, no reduced S&G/ No7/ Natural Collection.
All the washing liquids/ powders were still full price.
P&P is in a variey of packaging- some tubes and some glass bottles, but both scan at £18.50.
No reduced hair care.
No reduced skin care plus sold out of the Olay wash at £5.86 which had been the cheapest thing to use wrinklie on!

Just ask if there was anything specific you were looking for. HTH.
