Are we talking the Extreme length one? IN a gold tube?
I bought mine when the smokey eyes set came as a freebie and i can only wear it for around 2 hours. After that, my eyes itch like mad & i have to go & take it off.
I did wonder if it was some kind of reaction and thought about taking it back but was going to ring CS first:o
On the plus side, i have the clinique one (sparkly green tube) and can wear that all day with no problems whatsoever.:)Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0 -

Hi all you Boots experts - hoping for a bit of help please for a newbie to Bootsing!!
To get one of the No. 7 £5 vouchers at the till I have to spend £5. I know that bogof counts towards total spend even if amount to pay after bogof is less than £5 but does the same apply if I bought 2 products which were £2.70 each or 2 for £3.50 - would the till say I'd spent enough to qualify for the free £5 No. 7 voucher or would I actually need to be paying over £5?? I hope the question makes sense!!
Thanks in advance.0 -
I saw quite a lot of No7 stuff on clearance at the main HUDDERSFIELD branch. Got some No7 Glossy Locks spray x 2 for just over £5 and used PURPLE voucher and paid about 60p. Various other things available too.
Only some reductions on the toothpaste range. No mouthwash or toothbrushes.
All Olay Total Effects cream wash gone, so can't use SKINCARE on that. Please DO NOT use the SKINCARE voucher with the Olay Hand Cream. Made a right tit of myself as this is not FACIAL SKINCARE (as specified on voucher). LOL.
Got about 3 x SKINCARE and 5 x HAIRCARE. Anyone got any ideas on what to use them on and get something for a cheap price?
Thanks all.0 -

Hi there
Sorry, but to get the No7 £5 voucher, you have to actually hand over £5 cash, or £5 cash less any manufacturers coupons (not boots coupons). Bogofs do not count towards the voucher. They do sometimes count towards points vouchers - but usually only baby points vouchers, not total spend points vouchers. Mr B has closed a lot of his coupon loopholes in the last 12 months.

Hiyas, referring back to the discussion yesterday of how long no7 serum lasts, I've had an idea that might help others who are trying to determine how much is enough (or too much) to stock up when there's a sale.
A few weeks ago I started putting a dated sticker on certain things when I start a new bottle, and I'm going to do that with my no7 serum (though that won't help me decide if I need more while the sale is on now, lol). I've put it on my facial cleanser and handwash so far (and will do the serum), but I don't bother with my shampoo as I switch between a few different kinds during the week, so my method wouldn't work as well there. And I pretty well know I have enough put back for a couple of years as it is, lol, so don't need more.
I'm using small, brightly coloured stickers from an office supply store. I write the date on it and stick it to the bottle. You could also use plain white mailing label stickers and cut them into a lot of little labels. Of course those who don't mind having enough face wash, etc., for the next 10 years don't need to bother with this, lol, but for those who just want a year or two of product so that it doesn't go bad (or in case you find some fab new item and don't want to be stuck with years' worth of the old brand) this might help you figure out how much you want to stock up.0 -

sophisticated. wrote: »jazzteddy if your OH is just using them to clean his hands, Boots own brand baby wipes are cheaper (3 packs for £3)
baby wipes are 1/2 price in sainsbury's at the moment. I got a huge pack - to keep in the car, the other day for 60 odd pence:D
I had another small, but good shop this morning:)
I bought:
2 x always envive plus, reduced by 75% to 63p per pk
olay thermal polisher, £7.34 (London price:rolleyes: )
No7 P&P serum 30ml, reduced to £8.69
Total: £17.29
I used: £5 P&P (acm), £5 purply, £5 winkie and save £1 on elvive liners (PC)
I paid the grand sum of: £1.29:T Mr B has been really good to me the last couple of days. I hope he continues to be this generous:D0 -
Can anyone tell me what the Wrexham & Broughton stores are like at the moment?
Specifically if there are any HE left and the old L'Oreal GWP's?
Also on the look out for reduced stuff to use my £2 off Haircare vouchers with and STILL searchin for those elusive Mens L'OREAL ANTI FATIGUE thingies, lol.
Should have asked yesterday as Im planning on going later today.0
