Started writing the below in the early hours of the morning only to find that when I pressed the 'submit reply' button everything disappeared off the screen!!! Aargh!!!  Couldn't believe it!!!!  So have written it again now...
Went to visit Mr B y'day with the intention of spending my wrinklies/£2 off haircare only to find none available as sold out!!!! These seem 2b breeding from everywhere... however, found quite a lot of No7 items on clearence shelves, the same products which @ the time of the pinkies I had bought 1 @ £4.88 and then purchased another1 on fri @ £2.40 and y'day @ £1.20!!!! So drastically reduced as, apparently as per the SA reducing them, the manager wanted to get rid of them!!! Wow, music to my ears!!!:j However, some SA's were accepting the perkies on the clearence itmes & some were not!!! So had to do a bit of running around... Here's a list of my shops from y'day but will post 2day's a bit later or 2moro...

Just did a quick tally of what I've Bootsed in the last 4 days -
Total spend £13.46
Total saved £28.59 (except its loads more than that, what with half price toothpaste, and clearance Dnage, CW, Simple, Neutrogena, S&G)
plus I've got some free Clarins samples, and 3 perkies (so really, another £15 to spend in Boots logic).
I've taken the packaging off everything, and it still fills a Boots carrier bag :T !
Now I'm off to use some of my free skincare products before heading to bed.

However by late afternoon my eyes started to smart and felt gritty couldn't wait to get back home and take it all off, has anyone else had this problem?
Trouble is as I haven't used either before I'm not sure which one has caused it so i'm going to have to try one at a time .
Roc wipes did the same and made my eyebrows feel as if they were being stung by a million tiny wasps.
Would like to hear from anyone else who may have had a problem with these not much I can do about it really as they were FREE, but i'd be interested to know as I have put some in gift baskets.
TIA
VQ
A lot of people have said that they find the RoC wipes a little harsh. Personally I like them as they aren't perfumed and seem quite mild to me. The worst ones for me are the Time Delay wipes in the new packaging, I'm sure they must have changed the ingredients too, they sting like crazy on my face. I think it's all down to different skin types.
Interestingly my DD can use pretty much anything but finds that her skin is very sensitive just before her period starts, she even comes out in a rash from perfumes and bodysprays when it's that time of the month. I guess our skin chemistry must change in response to hormones.0 -
Need_a_break wrote: »Talking about passion/ romance etc, all this bootsing has got me spending more time looking after my skin etc especially got me using body, foot creams etc. Anyhow i asked the dh wether he had noticed any difference in my skin , specifically my feet, elbows and knees( all of which are quite dry) So he says " dun know, dont really look at those bits":eek::rolleyes:. Romantice eh!!!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (It's at times like this that I wish nettie noo was still posting)
geordie_lass - I can't remember a thing about my 50th - and I was practically sober  and it gets worse. Popped to the hairdresser last week and forgot the word "layers"I had to point and pull them to tell her to leave them as they were :rotfl:
Anyway ...
Re the pink suede L'Oreal Bags. They usually give these away locally, like when they want to sign peeps up to the Health Club etc.Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
Back to reality tomorrow - drop kids off at school then straight to boots:).
I keep forgetting to check things in my local so am gonna go armed with a list tomorrow.
I am only 31 and forget things all the time - put it down to my Lupus but always seem to have a foggy brain and don't quite do as well as all you other girls. Especially SS & passion8. Think you should start charging for Bootsing classes!I may have lupus but it doesnt make me useless! I am a true believer in Karma, and am a typical cancerian. I have a hard outside, but am mushy on the inside.:o0 -
Were the pink suede L'Oreal bags the ones with a full size lipstick in them? I'm sure I've seen them but it was last summer I think.
I like the white one best, it's just the right size to use as a make-up bag and the white lining means I can actually see the contents without having to put my specs on
passion8, I know exactly what you mean about forgetting words. I use "thingamajigs", "whatsits" and "doodahs" frequently these days. I even get my kids names mixed up :rotfl:0 -

I really should stay in moreSS is the real deal, I'm just fascinated by clearance shelves and reduced SELs
They're far more interesting
The real stars are those that can work out minimum spends for maximum items. I haven't even got a current GWP yet :rotfl: I'll buy one the day before the offer finishes lol.
Short story before I clear off
I've only ever found one glitch, and it was for photo corners. I'd been popping them in the basket for a week or so (an eternity in 'Boots time') and even posted about them .... without realising they had something stupid like 250 points for a 25p spend, and eventually a 12.5p spend! Someone else had to point it out to me when I posted a shopping list! I was like: :j :j :rotfl:
Have fun when the kids go back to schoolNight peeps x

No idea about the L'Oreal bag geordie_lass. I'm still admiring it - about 8 months after I was handed one:rotfl:
