moneysavingmumofone wrote: »Thankyou Tiara.:D I've got enough points to get some of my mums mothers day presents now. After discussing s&g on here the other day,i spotted a s&g set called scentsationalist? It had 3 sprays in it for £7.xx (wonder if that would be 1/3 off as the sets are usually included in promotions aren't they?)
I saw this set today and thought it looked nice...I am hoping it will be reduced by a third too!,
For all 3 body sprays it would only cost approx £4.67 and will compliment all those S&G mini's etc,
that I picked up with the £2 off voucher recently..
I must admit...I wondered what all the fuss about S&G was...but I am hooked now that i have used some
(OH is even using the handcream).
..Roll on Wednesday...and if anyone finds these reduced..please, kindly let us know.0 -
My mission was to get rid off all the wrinklies and hairies in my purse before tomorrow.
Managed - almost, just got one more back, I must try and pop in tomorrow to definately get rid off. Stocked up on Time Delay Lip Plumper as I've been using it for about 10 days and really notice the difference - very tingly! Also got the TD Eye Cream, couple off tubes - nice and light to use.
Not Silverburn, Braehead or either of the Paisley branches had any JF spray for 44p so still got most of my hairies left, looks like serum tomorrow!
Paisley Piazza branch nearly never took the new purply cos they havent started giving theirs out yet, but I said that I had been using them since last week so she took it, never got one back though. They did have a lot of Olay wipes, and facial express for £1.50 ish, but never bothered as I had already got some ROC wipes with wrinklies.
Managed to get the last 2 flannel cupcakes at Braehead at 61p each, assistant said it was 3 for 2 but it was cheaper just to get 2, than add a mask on for 3 for 2, didnt spend £5 but I think she felt sorry for me and gave me a purply anyway!
I am so pleased with this Bootsing - this time last month I NEVER used any of the vouchers, always bought my toiletries in Tesco and had about £3 on my card.
I now have a boxful to keep me going for a wee while, of shampoos, conditioners, sprays, creams, lotions, potions, potential gifts and over £25 on my card, for actually very little effort or expense
Thanks a bunch you guys!!0 -
Wednesday there should be new ACM vouchers. Can you feel the excitement build? I actually am looking forward to seeing what they are, lol.0

:rotfl:
Yep, my husband has never had it so good either, he has a supply of p&p lipcare and p&p hand cream which he keeps in his car, to keep him all lovely and soft :rotfl::rotfl:
If anyone else is looking to spoil their husbands, mine loves s&g sugar crush which gets his hands lovely and clean and soft, 1/3 off next week. It pays to
treat them with a freebie or a cheapie now and then!0 -
Aw thanks, am pretty sure it will be one of these 24 hour things as I feel pretty shivery, etc and that's how they usually start. Need to be better in order to use my last wrinklies tomorrow!
Ooh not sure, they were silver oblong quilted things, one had been opened and was completely empty. I suspected that there had been a voucher inside that someone wanted but maybe it was mascara/eyeshadowSurely if these are old GWPs they would scan at 0.00 though?
There were also some black No 7 bags on clearance but I'm pretty useless cos I can't remember how much they were! Def not really cheap, as in less than £3 anyway.
No 7 various sun stuff but none of the specific gradual delay tanning stuff that there is a coupon for in the new mag...cos I thgt ooh, a tiny glitch to cheer us up, but nah! Worth looking out for elsewhere though I suppose. Few lotions and some bronzing mousses too.
Quite a few of No 7 nail varnishes priced at 87p, although only that insipid pink colour...just checked ..shade is Charm 10. Useful if you're trying to get rid of 250 pointers for hardly any spend.Til beeps but they're not excluded so can be over ridden.
Mens Expert shaving oil, small bottle SEL (in normal place not back of store) reduced to 97p (or similar) and if you're lucky enough to have the ACM churn out a 150 points wyb any Expert for Men, spose its ok for hampers and for nowt!
There are half a dozen NC lime green cupcakes SEL 61p and NC is on 342 plus ACM points, 100 each NC purchase I think.
Also seems to be a new clearance shelf at the front of the store right infront of the new SS tills, yesterday only had some reduced small boxes of Thorntons premium chocs at £1.80 and chocolate coins for 10p.
Plenty of Sanctuary travel sets, both in mini's and travel section and the normal Sanctuary bit, but all the SELs are full priced still.I shall be stalking this particular item to see if anything changes. :rotfl:
Thanks for the comprehensive rundowm , thought the 17 bags might have been the nice ones not the naff ones with nothing in:p . I know in my local the changes ( re-trends?) for luxury bathing is next week, skincare this week so Chester may be the sameThis is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Well done everyone on some fabby shops!
I've had a lot of fun too - visited 3 different boots!
I did type up my shopping list, but the post was rather big
So suffice it to say, I got some No 7 P+P hand creams, No 7 exfoliators, Olay face washes, JF serums, NC green flanel cakes, 3 No7 GWP's. (all plum lippies)
I used hairys, wrinklies, perkies, P+P vouchers, NC 100 points, No 7 250 points
So total spent £33.71 (saved £46.89) points 1108
Best bit - I had Boots vouchers so had a completely guilt free shop :j
Watford Harlequin had signs up downstairs next to the 1/2 price No 7 mirror £19.99 saying you could use the new perkie - so £14.99 (checked voucher and electricals are excluded) did not mention any other No 7 electrical items but might work on others?
Lots of NC green flanel cakes (61p) left here, also NC cushions
Lots of No7 suncare, No7 hydro creams on clearance (downstairs by escalator)
Not much in Waterfields, no clearance, no sels (sorry I had last NC flanel cake!) acm not working
Thanks again everyone for all the shopping lists - it makes shopping so much easier when I know what I'm looking for0 -
We now have self service tills in the Central Milton Keynes Boots:j:j.
Almost fainted with excitement this afternoon when I saw them! Now I just need to get a lesson in how to use them.:p
