yes, that is standard. it will be to help assess how much he is out of pocket etc if you win - they'll deduct benefits from the assessed settlement amount.

remember the purpose is usually not topunish the employer, but to put hubby in the same positon he would have been in had they not taken illegal action/ done the proper process.

^^The tribunal haven't asked for any of this, I would have expected a letter from them about it, not his employers.

Ah well, will get it sent off, you never know - they might make him an offer (HA!) :rotfl:

    Thanks for the messages x

Had request for all documentation, and we have just sent off a request for all of theirs.

Getting a bit scared now - you know that horrible feeling in the pit of your stomach....got it every time I think of this.

I thought more would have been done via the tribunal in the run up, but they seem to be doing it all off their own back. Should we copy things to the tribunal when we reply, anyone know?

I would be tempted to - you can always say you are not sure if they should be included, so just adding them just in case!

Good luck Amber!!! I know the feeling! We've been communicating with the tribunal with OH case trying to chase up what is happening as we haven't really been told. OH ex employers requested a two week extension to submit their response which was granted, and OH only found out by chance when asking about something else, it wasn't communicated to him. Apparently the tribunal is swamped with cases so they are behind with everything.

Ex employers now have till this Friday to respond although we have been told unofficially that the ex employers might try to offer OH a deal as they haven't done anything and aren't intending to respond! We shall wait and see what happens Friday.

I wish you well for this. Something to be prepared for, is that the new witness may be trashed by the employer as being bitter and vindictive for being sacked. Do prepare him for the possibility.

I know that, and have worried about it somewhat. But on the other side of that is the fat that he only came forward because he now no longer had to fear losing his job.

Just depends who the tribunal believes I guess
