    Hello

I thought I would post a little update for all the people who helped us and gave me advice.

Can't believe it's over a year now since all of this happened!

Anyway - OH got a new job last August with decent pay and has settled in really well. (we are better off now than we were in his management position):j He is happier now knowing that it's stable and he isn't going to lose his job any minute (as am I!) we are sorting out our debts and I have paid nearly 5k off them this year.

We got the final bill for the solicitor a few months back.....18k!! The house insurance agreed to pay off 15k and guess what - the solicitors waived the remainder!!:T:T:T Think it was because we never walked away with a settlement, but good of them to do it when they didn't have to.

So, everybody happy here, onwards an upwards as the saying goes.
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. :cheesy:

Amber07 ! How strange! I was just thinking about you the other day , if you remember , my own Husband and yours were kind of in the same predicament regarding their work....

Its so good to read an update from you and Im so glad things are on the up for you and your Family.

Both of our stories show that there IS life after the initial terror that a dismissal/tribunal can bring.

Cannot believe that your legal bill was so high! Wow , bet you are so glad that your home insurance was covering that and not you personally lol.

All the best to you and yours x
