Well Done Amber and especially OH:T
You have graduated to the point that you can now help others from your experiences, anyone who stays up to the VERY wee hours to to put together all those pages should be feared.
BAs' right, you have got them on the back foot, your now in control, keep the pressure on. Attack, providing you have enough ammunition is one way to deal with people like this and OH has done a good job (with your support of course), they are on the run so pursue them like hell, make them pay for their irresponsible ways.
Good luck to OH in his interviews, keep the positivity flowing:j0 -
I was hoping you would say that :j
Thanks Burny - and thanks to everyone who has been posting on this thread for keeping my momentum going, it's given me a lot of hope when things have looked bleak, believe me.
Still a way to go, but we shall get there in the end.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. :cheesy:0 -
Hi Amber,
Guess night shift is part of your life at the moment.
I believe that none of us are looking for thanks we just want people to be treated fairly and see justice done.
This forum gives us the opportunity to support people who are the victims of bad practice. You have shown that with support of others you have turned around a very negative experience into a possible positive experience. I sincerely hope that the result is one that will see you both rewarded for your tenacity and that we, who are just ordinary people (some with greater knowledge than myself) have been willing to offer you both help at a time when it has been needed the most.
Your pay back is to offer your help and advice to others that need that support, to let them know that they are not alone and that together we can help them see justice done.
Keep us posted on future developments but as far as I am concerned it's great to know that total strangers are willing to offer their support to those that need it when life looks really bleak.
Power to the people:j0 -

Also, when he told the MD that at the initial interview he was told byt the Ops director that he could either 'resign, or fall on his sword' and that made him feel that the desision had already been made. The MD apparently looked quite shocked at this.:D
The above could be an important factor if you end up at ET. They would want evidence that the dismissing manager approached the matter with an open mind. This obviously hasn't happened.0 -

That's what I thought.
I know the dismissing director used the phrase on two seperate occasions. I never heard it the first time, as it was the day OH got suspended, but I heard it the second time, the day he phoned to tell OH when hs disciplinary hearing was cos the mobile was on speakerphone at the time.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. :cheesy:0 -
:hello: Amber07
I have no experience in this or any advice as has been mentioned before you are at the point where you can start helping other people through things like this.
I would just like to say i have been reading this thread with great interest (great to see its finally coming into your favour) and hope everything works out for yourself and your OH the way that it should.

Hi Amber,
Just passing through. Any news yet from the MD?
Hows OHs' job hunting going any more interviews?
Keep positive and you shall be rewarded;)0 -
OH has had a couple of other interviews, but none have led to anything yet, he is getting quite frustrated now, he has never been out of work this long in his life.
Hoping to hear from the MD any day now. The typed notes from the appeal arrived the other day. I'm giving him till the end of the week then I'm going to start OH's tribunal application.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. :cheesy:0 -
This is such a great thread. Much admiration to Amber and her OH, going through all this and being so positive and doing all the research.
You two are a force to be reckoned with! Good luck.0
