    Hi
There is no way I can help you, But from reading this post it is obvious you OH was well and truly set up, I wish you both all the best and will be keeping an eye out on this thread, I am so confident you will win, good luck
  • Hi Amber,
Great to read the comments of support for you and OH, you both deserve them for the distance you have travelled so far but the journey is not as yet complete there are still some hills to climb. Get your form into the ET, you have nothing to lose as it can always be withdrawn. Show them that you mean business and that you will not back down. If they have any sense at all (debatable) they will try to settle before going to tribunal as it will definetely be cheaper for then than paying for legal representation.

Keep the support coming folks for Amber and OH, let justice be seen to be done.

    Good news for once!!

OH has managed to get a new job:j He starts on Tuesday. It's 8k less than his previous job, but anything is better than benefits. It's a weight off my mind, I can tell you!:D

It has been 2 weeks now since the appeal and we haven't heard anything- I have suggested to OH that he phones head office tomorrow and asks if there has been any progress with the investigation.

    Hmmmmm....got this letter this morning.
I have now had the opportunity to fully consider the matters that we discussed at your recent appeal hearing. I have also reviewed again all of the statements and other evidence, both from the initial investigation and from your disciplinary hearing.

Having done so, I am writing to advise you of my decision to uphold your dismissal for Gross Misconduct as being correct and fully justified based on the evidence provided.

He has said he was going to carry out a new investigation. He hasn't got back to OH with a single answer to any of his quiestions (dates/times? etc) and OH answered every comment against him.

I just don't get this at all. The woman from CAB hit the nail on the head when she said it was a hatchet job.

Oh well - now to get a lawyer and start on the ET application.

Luckily OH was honest about his last position with the employer he is about to start working for and he knows there could be an ET coming up.

Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves
