Sure, and Windows users have to justify how crap it is by pointing out how cheap their computer was. Cuts both ways really!

I don't my "PC" laptop was cheap and the OS was free and isn't crap. My main desktop was very expensive (for me), looks go and does eveything I throw at it.

Given that the most common problem PC users seem to have is viruses and malware, and the Mac has an almost embarrassingly small number of said nasties, I'd say a Mac was pretty much ideal for day to day use.

Rephrase needed! Most windows users. The reason why theres very few for Macs is because the OS is based on BSD an extremely secure start and as windows is the most popular OS it is targeted more because nowadays theres big money for virus/malware writers, it makes sense to target the biggest audience.

Probably the because the OS is designed from the ground up for that sort of thing, instead of being designed for emailing Ned from accounts about the last quarterly review.
Woooooo, straight in for the kill.:p
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

    And pie charts!

I can't really argue about the games thing. It's about the only thing I'd consider buying a PC for.

But I'd rather not give Microsoft any of my money, so I just play my XBox 360 instead.

    Erm....

Perhaps I should have said "the most common problem expressed on this board".

Maybe, but they all have one thing in common, windows.

Tell me about it. I try not to get any pleasure when someone asks about a new computer, says they only want Windows, and then is on here a month later with more viruses than an ebola outbreak during flu season.

I briefly considered changing my sig to "I told you so", but eventually thought better of it.
