Oh yeah and I don't believe in ironing
especially not PJ's! he he! We manage to survive (just
) with our creased clothes, but we get by!
I do have great respect for people that manage to iron (like my nan) who iron everything, towels, tea towels, underwear, socks etc. The nearest I get is when we did Hama beads at work!

I know its not relevant but I am intrigued why people wear underwear under night clothes... my grandchildren all wear pants under their PJ's , WHY? I ask but they really don't know why , they just do it... anyone?
My DD is only 8 months so obv she wears a vest under, but I don't understand the pants thing- I think it seems uncomfy. When we were small we wore a vest under our PJ's in winter though, but not pants!0 -
My 4 vary, they probably change pjs evry other day or so. No pants and like best pud- No Ironing!!! of anything!
With 6 of us the washing is enough so I dont iron at all. I shake things alot before drying and if I put them smoothly to dry on airers etc I find they are fine.:o Well no one ever tells us we look crumpled or scruffy?!
Usually when I tell people I dont iron they dont believe me and start inspecting the clothes the kids are wearing which always makes me feel glad i dont, if no one can tell the difference anyway!!0 -

Well that's the thing isn't it?
People spend hours ironing everything but our clothes never look any different to theirs!
I find people don't believe me too but then have to admit I never believed the people who saw the light before I did!
It did take me a while to get used to it though. At first I almost felt as though I was going out naked as it felt all wrong. That lasted a week or two but since then I've never looked back.0 -
I can tell the difference... If you're comfortable not ironing then good on you... I can't bear to wear things that aren't ironed... Although will resort to tumbling something if its not too bad and I can't be bothered to drag the ironing board out... Even then sometimes I'll still iron it if its too crumpled...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

as a family of 6 we all have clean pjs every night - done this for a few years since we had threadworms and i didn't want my kids wandering out the house, possibly spreading the worm eggs (we have had them a few times). So lots of washing in my house - only iron pjs if they are really creased but iron other clothes. My washing and ironing is horrendous.now mum of 4!!!0

I get the feeling that most people here have younger children than me. Mine are both teens, DS being the eldest at 16.
Both of mine wear clean PJ's every night, always haveMy mum thinks I 'make a rod for my own back' :rotfl:

Me too! I've had quite a few people tell me they don't iron, and whilst I smile and nod politely and say I'd never have guessed, internally I'm screaming "I know you don't, I'm not blind!"
Mind you I like quite tailored and smart clothes, and there's no way on earth that I could get away without ironing those, and OH works in an office, so same with him. I look like I've slept under a hedge if I wear jeans and a sweatshirt or fleece, so maybe if I worse stuff like that it wouldn't make much difference whether they were ironed or not!0 -

Do you mean you can tell the difference in your own clothes, or you can accurately spot others who are wearing non-ironed clothes?
Because they do feel different when you first put them on imo...0 -

Underwear under night wear?? That's certainly a new one on me
Do you have clean ones at night and another clean pair the next day?
I really don't understand why you'd want to do that!!! Crazyness!!
Although I've obviously got an OCD of my own by wearing knickers under pj's and the children do to. They have a clean pair to go to bed, and then another clean pair in the morning. Although I would put pj bottoms on over the ones I'm wearing, I wouldn't change them especially for bed. They usually wear matching pairs of pj's, but not always.
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0
