I know its not relevant but I am intrigued why people wear underwear under night clothes... my grandchildren all wear pants under their PJ's , WHY? I ask but they really don't know why , they just do it... anyone?

I don't know either, its just something we've always done...
  • My daughter gets clean pjs every night, because she usually has a very full nappy by the morning and I don't like the idea. Even if they LOOK clean, I don't know nothing has leaked.

I don't iron anything. I don't ever buy clothes that need ironing. I hate ironing! I don't think our iron has been used for at least three years now. Hurray!

Why on earth would anyone iron pyjamas? That's bonkers. Who is going to see the children in them? They're only going to wear them to bed. What a waste of time and electricity. My two get clean pj's ever few days, again dependent on spills at breakfast time and also sometimes DS is a bit sloppy when he has a wee (he's only 3 ) so needs clean ones. And yes they wear pants and knickers under their pj's. As do I. Cleaner and more comfy imo.

    Jxx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

I definitely don't iron PJs! But DD gets a clean pair every 2-3 nights... Unless she's had an accident in the bottoms... She very rarely wears matching tops and bottoms either... Even when she fetches her own PJs she'll just grab the nearest top and bottom whether they match or not... And she doesn't wear underwear underneath either, I don't know why people do that?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Aw gawd, I iron knickers and pants too :o:o (unless they've been in the tumble dryer)

Underwear under night wear?? That's certainly a new one on me
Do you have clean ones at night and another clean pair the next day?

mine were changed every day until they were dry at night and now they are changed every couple of days. They dont wear underwear under pjs cos its good to air, same as its good to air your feet and not wear socks at night. I dont iron pjs, i might later on once they are both at full time school but for the minute i have better things to do.

my ds has clean pj's every night because he has a thing about them and they have got to be a matching set
,i dont iron them though ,
he wears his pants in bed as well but i know this stemmed from when we were potty training i found he stayed dry at night if he was wearing pants where if his little bits had freedom lol he was more likely to wee at night ,so the habit has still stayed

DD(7) doesn't often wear pjs but if she does, they are not changed every night.

If she has a bath/shower, she will usually put some on once she is dry and would not put pants on, but if she changed into a pair of pjs, she wouldn't take her pants off.

She usually wears her pants to bed (the ones she's had on all day) but if straight out of the bath and not wearing pjs, she sleeps completely naked.

She will sometimes put pjs on in the morning, if it is cold when she gets up!

I don't iron any clothes, let alone pjs - well, maybe best clothes if we were going out, but not normal clothes. And ironing underwear is just plain daft imo!

My DD has clean PJ's every night, but she eats her breakfast in them and she has porridge and is learning to feed herself so it's a messy business. I don't think this creates too much washing, maybe when you have more than one child it get's more, but I do 1 load most days regardless and this includes mine, DH, DD and nappies. I am very environmentally conscious in many ways but my washing machine is a luxury. I don't unneccesarily change DD during the day, if she gets mucky then she stays mucky (unless poo obv, though not an issue now she is a bit bigger really!)
