You still dont have any anti virus program running Jen

Download AVIRA ANTI VIRUS PERSONAL (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_antivir/
UPDATE and run a FULL scan with it

Thats ok ~ leave that part out for now

Do the SPYBOT run (Assuming youve run SAS on FULL?)

ok.... well just found it in the processes and have shut it and then done as instructed (right click, run as admin) and waaay hey .... it worked .... !!!

I have run that AVIRA so many times now its complaining of overwork .... it even list it in the windows security lists .... Luke filewalker is sick of me!

    Hi Jen

Not much else we can do now.
MYWEBSEARCH seems to get on everyones computers (Got on mine somehow last week which has confused the hell out of me)
If left unattended it seems to spread like wildfire.
Run SPYBOT, MALWAREBYTES and SAS alternately weekly (Dont forget to update every time). This shols ensure that if you DO get anything in the future (Or theres still some unknown MYWEBSEARCH in there), then youll clean it up fairly quickly.
Run AVIRA monthly to be safe.

Cant recall without checking whats gone on so ~
Download PC TOOLS FIREWALL (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')
When installing you have the option of installing 'THREATFIRE' too (another antivirus program). Entirely upto you if you wish to or not.
    http://www.download.com/PC-Tools-Firewall-Plus-Free-Edition/3000-10435_4-10625321.html
Im especially recommending this due to your 'nielsen' program. A firewall ASKS you about each and every program trying to access the net (Or any incoming connections)

Download CCLEANER (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION' ~ make sure YAHOO TOOLBAR is unticked on installation)
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Run the top 2 scans (UNTICK 'cookies' and Backup the registry when it asks)

Download GLARY UTILITIES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')
    http://www.download.com/Glary-Utilities/3000-2094_4-10508531.html
    Run the ONE CLICK scan

Then you should be good to go :)

    oooo

    RESTORE POINTS may be infected

Click on Start, Computer, Right click on C: Drive, select properties. Select Cleanup, files from all users. In next window select more options tab then clean up under System Restore Points.

I'm sorry but I can't seem to find these options ... I'm on Vista

I downloaded everything you suggested and it all seems much better now ....
