right well I've just attempted to do as instructed and finally read a window which has appeared each time but never looked at proper, and so just said ok.... it says something about some areas of the computer not being accessible - the hosts?? then instructs to exit hijack and right click the hijack this icon and run as administrator - sounds easy enough you would have thought ..... Nope!! When I try to click on Hijack this - it states that Hijack this is already running although it doesnt show on Windows Task Manager.

What can I do now?

Have you tried seeing if its in the processes? If it is right click it and left click the end process tree option.
