    that is the joke you plonker you really need to get a sense of humour honestly lighten up man relax:beer:.lets try this joke:an old man hobbles into a bar and struggles to get on the chair.banana split please", he says.

    "Crushed nuts?", asks the waitress.

    "No", the old man replies, "Arthritis.":rotfl::rotfl: i know you won't admit being amused by that joke asharon, but you don't have to i know that you were:cool::D:cool::Dhope you enjoyed that joke people and have fun money saving.

    Just becasue I do not share your sense of humour does not mean that I don't have one.

    The joke would only have worked if the title was "wash balls at aldi" but it is "eco-wash balls at aldi" so your joke falls flat.

    edit - I really didn't find it funny because the title was different and if you don't understand that then you miss why this type humour can be funny.
    Nice to save.

    I am happy with the Aldi Eco Balls. I have used them throughout the week but today loaded the machine with my walking gear, the trousers were splashed with mud.....delighted with the results. I did add white vinegar and zoflora to the final rinse - a very good buy.

  • hi,

    I've used them all week too and have been very happy with the results - I figure it will save me a fair bit of money and be more enviromentally friendly too which is fab!

  • My wife likes to use fabric conditioner for the anti static effect on her clothes and not the smell. Is there any other way of obtaining this effect without using the softener.

    Try white/clear vinegar. I fill the fabric conditioner dispenser to the max for a full load. When the washing is dry it doesn't smell of vinegar at all. (Though I do add just 2 drops of essential oil - just my preference).

    You can buy a 500 ml bottle at the supermarket to try it out. I buy in bulk as I also use it half and half with water to wipe down counter tops.

    To those of you who believe these magic balls work try this test;

    wash some clothes with nothing but water.

    you'll find that these balls are not so magical and that water is and always has been the 'magic' ingredient when it comes to washing.
    I've not tried it myself but I suspect that the above statement may well be true.
    Has anyone tried washing using nothing but water?

    I did a comparison, two items same dirt, washed first in water ( where there would have been residual soap powder) not bad results, better than I thought it would be, washed with the eco ball, much better results.

    (baby clothes with spaghetti and tomato sauce).
