Yeah thanks I had a great time. Kept to budget too until the last day then unforseen circs intervened and I ended up overspending. Not too bad tho' I think. Can't find the cc slip, I have every other receipt and religiously wrote down all expenditure while away but can't find this last one!

Well done on switching credit cards - hope that payment doesn't come out!
On another topic - have you joined sites like Quidco.com and Pigsback.com? Can make you serious money on things that you'd normally buy anyway.MFW #185

pigsback are another 'clicky' site like quidco but you get points which you can then redeem for things. You'll no doubt have seen their pink stress pigs about, and the piggyt bank is v popular on the mortgage free wanabees. But, the higher you get the better it gets -at the mo you need 1150 points for a £10 Boots voucher - and they're doing an offer at the mo where you get 1500 points for booking a Holiday Inn Express room - we use them for work so I've been clocking them up and just received £80 in Boots vouchers:j :j :j :j .
V limited choice of retailers, but a few nuggets in there!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hi James
This thread will tell you all about Pigsback
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=234646
I've not been doing it for that long (just about to get my first £10 voucher though!) :j
I haven't bought anything to get my piggypoints (trying not to spend) but its surprising how quick they mount up & it takes hardly any time to do. The thread will explain all & have a look down the first page as there are lots of links to earn extra points to give you a good start
