its fantastic news its saved me an awful lot of money that can be applied elsewhere although i might end up having to repair me car though  MOT is due in September and i dont think it will pass unless i get it sorted out. Ill have to have a word with the MOT Place and see if they can "ignore! it lol as its only a bit of my bodykit that needs fixing back in place i think it could be a failiure on the MOT though

You could always just take it off. Bodykit isn't exactly structural, and it can't fall off and kill someone if it isn't on in the first place.

Well i know of a garage that will do it for cash for me, but the part needs replacing which is £110 and then needs spraying, so total cost is going to be around £150  even on the cheap i think i might have a word with the Guys at the MOT place and if they say it would fail im going to do what ZTD suggested and take it off :D

I think that's probably your best idea, saving a few pennies and passing your MOT!!

Does it not look beat-up now, with it hanging off?

Why is it hanging off? An unscheduled interaction with a kerb..?
